  • Need A Breath of Fresh Air???

Mr. Keillor never disappoints, always on point and always a delight to listen to. Of course the loss of Don Imus is still affecting me, I'm still in withdrawl. One of the things I can do however, is go to the archives at the Prarie Home Companion and listen to Garrison Keillor. Don Imus's firing undoubtedly was political, future firings and disciplines are surely in the offing. Thank you Garrison for again, a wonderful article.

  • not as vulgar as Rutgers

Sclerotic giggly old Don Imus wasn't anywhere near as vulgar as the media spectacle that followed his jibe, with a grieviously wounded and near-hysterical Rutgers women's basketball coach being interviewed in a scripted manner by a patronising Brian Williams. The real vulgarity was the sanctioning by a revered American institute of higher learning, Rutgers, the non-English phrase "nappy headed hos", as a legitimate term of misogynist put down, that the Rutgers womens basketball team was apparently very familiar with, even if the majority of Americans didn't and still don't have a clue what Imus was talking about when he used the term.
