Despite his prattle about cutting the deficit, a grudging nod to global climate change, and yet another plea for backup on his Iraq plan, Bush's presidency entered its final phase on life support.

  • Please do something about this!

Please consider how bad you feel having these gangsters, carpetbaggers and cowboys weilding power in your country and then spare a thought for the rest of us who have them weilding power in our world. You can do something about it, we can't.

It's terrifying to think what they could do over the next 2 years. Being at war seems to get your government unqualified support from the American people, how about provoking Iran or Nth Korea? It's worked once why not again?

What a system where a sitting president gets hounded and impeached for lying about a blowjob but another lies about national security resulting in unprovoked invasion, thousands of deaths, monstorous profiteering and nepotism and gets to be president for 2 more years.

Please on behalf of the rest of us that share the globe do something about this situation. This is about more that Democrats and Republicans, who wins, who is right who is wrong etc. this is potentially about all of our survival.

    David Edler

  • Hasn't this administration learned thier lesson from Vietnam?

Casy that was a good letter and I think you know the answer to that question. Of course they didn't thier lesson. How could they when they themselves repeatedly chose to "cut and run" from military service when it was thier turn.

The only difference for Bush and Cheney between Iraq and Vietnam? They both had a plan to get out of Vietnam. It's sure obvious to darn near everyone NOT NAMED JOE LIEBERMAN that they don't have a plan to get out of Iraq.

  • Bush's Domesctic/Galactic Agenda

I think we can all agree that he is as serious about reducing oil consumption, and easing the burden on healthcare costs as he is about sending a man to Mars.

Remember his nonsense about Mars? Well, let's make fun of him for this. It shows how full of it he is.

  • He needs to have it both ways

The question of which is more important -- Bush's need to control mid-east oil supplies & also implent new energy technologies her in the U.S. (ethynol, ect.) are not exclusive, but inclusive. Someone must have whispered in the current occupant's ear that the oil in the middle east is trickling slower as the pumps approach the bottom of the oil deposit layers. Big oil wants to be there until the last drops are cucked out, but as theis happens, oil prices will rise & other nations will also be competing for every last drop. Therefore the need for a transitional eneergy supply. Big coal is polishing up its earth-movers. Big agriculture is searching for ways to make ethynol from cheaper substances than corn. You may have noticed how the word "energy" is replacing the words "petroleum" & "oil".

For Bush & Big Energy "No source shall be left behind."

  • TWO WEEKS IN &

No talk of investigation of Bush and cabal's crimes.

    No talk of impeachment.

No talk of reversing the infringements on our rights.

Why did we elect Democrats if they do not defend us mere taxpaying peons?!?

We need ombudsmen or some other force to question how it is we are really turning into a fascist nation without any OVERT resistance from media, corporations, or populace.

  • MAYBE IF BUSH LIED ABOUT A BLOW JOB TOO

then the sheeple would get up in arms over this felonious fellatio and kick his fun loving butt out.

but murdering 650,000 Iraqis in an illegal war under false pretenses doesn't seem to count as an impeachable offense.

How fucking sad for our once great nation.
