I am likely older than you are. No doubt I am more experienced. No doubt I am much wealthier, in both experience and assets, of that I am certain. I quoted statistics that are verifiable and accurate. Additionally, I dare say I am much more intelligent than you are and have the luxury not to be forced to be politically correct as I can easily afford not to be. When you as intellectually dishonest as you are, it is easy to see how limited the depth and breath of experience you have truly is. Don't tring being ironic or clever, you are not very effective at either. Try being realistic.

Well written, but
not especially informative. The essay spent the lioness's share of its time reflecting on the difficulty of the question, rather than potential answers.
Perhaps I should reflect on the engendered cliche of talking more about the problem than the solution, or should we look closer at the women who think that loving their sons enough will make them love women.

Why is it impossible for you to raise a good PERSON?
Really, DJD, may I strongly suggest some therapy to deal with these latent childhood, man-hating issues?
You spend 2 pages talking about how to raise a black boy into a black man, but here's the catch:
He already IS a black boy growing into a black man. What are you, as his feminist black mother going to do to get over your past and help guide this young man into his future?
I would suggest being less concerned about what kind of man he is going to become and FAR more concerned with how you are going to prevent your man-hating childhood issues from wrecking havoc on his growing sense of self and self-worth.

From my experience, (maybe it's just Austin), women well into their thirties ply on, trying to skin the same cat a different way each year their clock is running dry.
They just roll on to subsequent fresh levels of self-trickery, figuring if only they can crack the equation, they can have the bad man without the 'bad' part attached to him.
By the time they reach forty, they are desperate and tapped out, and then they begin to profess a like of 'kind' men.
But what man wants a forty year old woman? Answer: hardly any man, unless it is for a quick easy lay with someone who is suddenly desperate.
The tune changes, the desire never really does.
But again, I was mostly castigating women for consistently and maliciously spreading the BIG LIE to boys, not for liking bad men necessarily, though that is another problem altogether for society.

i cant figure out this article at all. how did this woman get pregnant twice if she is so antimale.her blackness is used to entice us into her poor me world as well. but this only underscores the jerry springer world that many blacks still live in. this conundrum which the writer posts as deep femininsm is nothing of the kind. this is one strange lady who is mired in a cultural mess of her own making. sorry for the lack of compassion on my part. i just feel sorry for her children. what kind of man this type of woman can hope to raise is debatable..many feminists take great pride in having and raising boys for this world. and we never burden any of our children with these kinds of poorly formulated philosophical questions. dont consider yourself such a gift to the female gender. we do not need little bs like you.

I'm with you sister!
I am also a Black mother and I have struggled with this issue raising my own children (5 year old daughter and 2 year old son.) Strangers have chastised me for not piercing her ears and buying my son a "My little pony." (He was fascinated with his sister's!) Since my son has been born I have wondered how my feminist empowerment indoctrination of my daughter will affect him. I realize that my family and friends are okay with me telling my daughter that she can become whatever she desires but feel that some things like dance class or cooking are not appropiate for my son. I think what works in our house is that my husband is feminist supporter. I think that my son seing my husband take responsibility for our family wife without acting as if he is doing me a favor is the best way to raise a REAL MAN!!!

I just find it amazing that
politically correct thinking dominates so many automatons who lack the capacity to articulate their own thoughts intelligently because of fear of reprisal or not fitting in. I am all for feminism as long as it means women work the same hours as men, contribute the same, do not receive special consideration, etc. Equal means equal. I reward my staff based upon merit, not gender. If someone wishes to act like a punk and a pussy and suck up because they feel it will help them get laid, suicide is a better choice. I am the bad boy and do treat women with disdain and do enjoy a varied and frequent sex life with very hot women, because I treat them as they wish to be treated, like shit. I have no intention of marrying and if I did it would not occur without a prenuptial agreement, separate tax returns, separate credit, separate income and assets. I paid $1.45 Million to a sack of meat after 4.5 years of marriage. Why would I do it a 2nd time. The only reason for marriage is procreation. This child will be raised and influenced by a bigot and man-hater. I feel sorry for him and the life he will lead.
