    I remember this argument from the 2000 election. We were firmly told that there would be, basically, no difference at all between a Clinton/Gore administration and a George W. Bush administration, because Republicans and Democrats answered to the same corporate masters and the same political forces.

    Just in terms of the issue at hand--national debt--how's that working out for you?
