  • Mexicans in New Orleans

    There was an interesting article recently in the LA Times about Mexican immigrants traveling to New Orleans for construction jobs:

    The jobs pay $16 an hour, far above minimum wage, yet there hasn't been a comparable rush of Americans to take them. Not sure why, but it gives food for thought.
