Xenophobic and unfunny
Hey Doug:
I think it's interesting that you're defending these cartoons. I saw them and found them to be xenophobic and unfunny; exactly like your "Ryder Truck" cartoon. Of course, I'm seeing it from the perspective of a brown-skinned woman (tho not a muslim). Would you find it funny if someone drew pictures of pasty-skinned, no-lipped, blonde, blue-eyed types and how this 2% of the world's population has committed grievous acts of violence and colonialism all over the world and continues to shove their world-view down everyone's throats? Do I think you should kill people or declare fatwas against these ignorant racists? NO.
