A last point, I have zero compassion for these undressed male Iraqis fallen in US custody! (Including those in Guantanamo Bay! What a (non) issue! joke!)
It burns my soul to think of all the cruelty Saddam and his Subordinates imposed on Innocents Men, Women and Children all over Iraq, not free inside their own homes, not free in the streets, not free in their schools! Mutilated in their hands! Lost and Forgot in their Prisons...
It would be equal to the Horror and Fear Jews across Europe had to go thru because of a Dictatorship in Power: Nazi Germany and Sympathizers!
Iran is a nut case also! Nobody is safe in his own home: Drinking and Alcohol are Prohibited, Free Loving is prohibited, Western Music, prohibited, Homosexuality, prohibited, Freedom of Speech, prohibited - unless of course you praise the Prophet and you Hate the Jews! Unless you practise Pedophilia and you are 70-year-old and male!
Some readers wrote somewhere that Iran is a growing Democracy! I suppose it was someone who also believe This US Administration is run by Nazis!! In Iran, People may vote but their only choice is between a Cow and a Camel! There are Internet Cafés everywhere! Everybody is forced to live in illegality because none of their Laws make sense! But Don't get caught!! It's still not the Horror of Saddam's Iraq, maybe it was my Luck never getting caught on trivial matters such as Marijuana! (which according to me should be legal in America, not over abused, but legal). The day I couldn't shout my mouth anymore on Political (still Life!) Issues, I became truly Paranoide and had to leave! It took me another 4 years to pack (my paintings) and leave!!!
I had not yet found a name with which sign my paintings -Basquiat is my soul-Brother, both born in 1960; Lou Reed is my other soul-Brother; but I think I have found it now: "made in Tennessee"
