Rush Limbaugh is still a big fat idiot

And so are his Fox News pals, who lambasted Sen. Al Franken's "stolen election"

The libtards at Salon need to lighten up!

Rush Limbaugh is not political commentary! Rush Limbaugh is political theatre! Instead of keeping count of the number of times he has sinned against you, why not just change channels!

Al Franken is the classless idiot

I am sorry...anyone who calls others names whom they don't agree with, like they are in kindergarten, is more the idiot.

It's OK to disagree with someone but to get personal, rude and insulting is not cool.

If he disagrees with Rush, then explain why, in a classy mature way. Hurling insults only makes you look childish and hateful and makes the one insulted look better.

I've noticed something...why is it the left who gets personal and hateful? It's like they have an inability to understand that just because someone is conservative and doesn't see things the same way, it makes them a bad person.

I think it's time for many in our public life to learn to disagree with respect and maturity.

@digitbit

Thank you for demonstrating my point. Scarborough is the ONE guy "on the right" who hosts a show on a cable news network, vs. the four liberals doing so on Fox. I forgot about him, mainly because very few people watch MSNBC.

I suppose "one" conservative on a single liberal network in you mind equals "four" liberals on a conservative one. That's "fair and balanced" in your world, isn't it?

As I am sure it pains you to know, "Fox rules" on cable, and is the only news network that is growing its audience by leaps and bounds. Fibrillating CNN and MSNBC, meanwhile,need to have the paddles slapped onto them. Someon ought to put a "Do Not Code" sign on Anderson Cooper, the poor thing.

So, maybe you can name some conservatives hosting shows on the (former) Major Network news organizations, which are also hemorrhaging viewers?

Franken is now my senator and every derisive dig at him by these professional liars are absurd and baseless

Well you never mind them. I've found something they couldn't use. The twat believed Powell at the UN. He then went, at least at first, and supported an invasion by a super power on a nation weakened by years of sanctions which was no threat to anyone. That at the very least makes him a seriously dopey git and war criminal enabler. Couldn't you have dug up some else from your state to represent you that wasn't quite so appallingly stupid?

@austinboy

Dude, Rush isn't your leader? He is the only one that seems to get others to get in line. He speaks for the fringe who are clearly in charge pending future Palin antics. Face it there are not any true leaders in the GOP and they are clearly out of ideas. I know I know when he says it's Obama's fault that Sanford went down to Argentina to hump it's a little tough to take but hey he is out in front now. If you're in Austin then I am sure there are some fellow Texans who would welcome you to the other point of view. We have some leaders. You, not so much

@Patco13

I don't have to agree with someone to think he can't say whatever he wants to whomever he wants! But thanks for caring! I live in San Francisco, BTW, but I'm from Austin! Live long and prosper, dude!

Who Stole 2000 & 2004 Presidential Election ? ? ?

Michael Connell can't answer this one; He is dead. He died in His Single engine Plane, right before He was to testify before Congress on His role in Cyber Vote Theft. Karl Rove Hired Connell to Aid in Stealing the elections and Connell was going to tell the Truth. He feared for His Life, telling Family and Friend's that Rove THREATENED HIS LIFE if He admitted to Congress about the Vote Theft in Florida in 2ooo and in Ohio in 2004.

Why isn't FAUX NEWS Reporting on this daily. and as for LIMPBAUGH; He is a Biomass that hates Himself so much, it is all He can do to survive Living in His Skin, hurling Hatred at everything and anything good. CONGRATS AL !!!!!

OK, one more time for the more mentally-challenged among us. The title and cover of "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot and Other Observations" is satire. That is, it is a satirical statement about the state of political discourse in America. He's standing there looking smug in a library with a reading jacket and a pipe for crissakes! Now, if you really want concise, fact-based reasons why he disagrees with Rush, just read the book. It's full of them. But, please stop pretending to be outraged over the satirical title of the book. It's much less disgusting than "The 100 People Ruining America" for example. That book actually played a role in getting a bunch of Unitarians killed.

AL FRANKEN vs WHACKNUTS

If you're familiar with the old "Three Stooges" or any of the other "Slapstick" comedy routines of an earlier generation, don't these imitators (Rush, Beck, Sean, WSJ, et.al), bring back warm memories of that era? Only trouble might be is where these comedian's targeted audience don't get the "joke". Humorless bastards!!!

still laughing

Any way you look at it, Al Franken has had the last laugh. I seem to recall that some right wing person wrote a book called 'Michael Moore is a big fat Stupid White Man' because Michael Moore wrote a book called 'Stupid White Men' which was about, yes, stupid white men: namely the rich, stupid white men that run America. The fact that Obama got elected and Al Franken got elected says something about how weary Americans are of the same old people running things. The insults are childish but sometimes they are accurate. I mean, how else can you describe Limbaugh? As a weight challenged, intellectually challenged caucasian male. Loses its punch, doesn't it? I think Limbaugh is paid a lot of money to be stupid which means he's actually not. He is fat and obnoxious, though.
