When Obama said that
he was going to run a "different" type of campaign, I personally interpreted that to mean that he would not allow himself to be swift-boated the way Kerry was. I took that to mean that any attack on him would be met with at equal or stronger response within the same news cycle. So far, that has been exactly the case.
