  • Yeah,

I hope she (Ferraro) continues to speak out too, and when she does speak out she should always continue to speak out in very starkly drawn and simplified black and white terms.

  • @Tina Trent Enough about me, tell me what you think of me?

Telling me it's all about you and how we 'all don't get it is supposed to motivate me to agree with you somehow?

Which is more than I can say for your ilk. It's an election. You've already alienated me. But if you stop and make a half-hearted attempt to apologize, I'll still show up to vote, which is more than I can say for you.

Ilk like me is just dust on the road. I don't think you can say anything for me.

  • Conason, what?

Terrible article. You wrote mean (maybe true?) things about her but never really addressed why she is wrong about Senator Obama.

    Thanks for wasting my time.

  • If only I could just see in black and white...

...most surely then I would see the light.

  • When did Feminism turn into batshit hysterical venemous shrewism?

    I'm confused.

  • walker's cunning stunt

Wow. Bold type, capital letters, wide spacing..... that is just sooooo impressive. And dick jokes, too. You've got it all. and a personal vibrator as your friday night companion. I really haven't the faintest what your gender is. You have the attributes of a hermaprodite, and the vocabulary of a seventh grader- and not a bright one at that. So, prattle on with your diatribes and see how that helps poor, put upon Hillary, crucified like a female Christ by the male dominated media, and bested by an uppity black man too impolite to wait his turn. Does that make Obama stubby also? For tomorrow's breakfast, try the rolling doughnut. Rumor has it they're yummy if you can hit the center. Bring your electronic "friend" to better your chances. The cool think is, with all this cartoonish posturing we do on line, that it has absolutely no effect on attitudes of douche bags of either gender (Big Bill has been the biggest douche bag in this whole election, with Ferraro a distant second, so don't give me the feminist line that any reference to a feminine body part or product is sexist.) May your dreams be damp and frequent, and may the wind be ever in your contorted, rage torqued visage. If I may be frank, in closing (according to you a cocktail frank) I actually hope that you pull out of it. Type plainly. Say what you mean. Realize that these web threads are as substantial as spider webs. Be well. Really. I mean no harm. I'm just a stubby old man with a keyboard, while you're an intellectual giant and a sexually flexible goddess of unimaginable beauty before whom the seas of humanity part in abject reverence. It's an honor to be berated by a person having your rank. your humble servant, tommy

  • What can one say?

Walker is way out there. I know walker is a woman, but she distictly reminds me of a famous American of the 1850's, one William Walker.

  • 99

I assume that Walker was a slavery apologist. Had to be. The only walker I've consorted with, and that was many years ago when my liver could take it, was Johnny Walker. Black, of course.

  • T. Payne

I feel your pain payne...if you'll pardon the pun.

  • Speaking of apologies

Hillary Clinton is due a REAL big one from both Obama and his fruitcake pastor and that portion of the Democratic party which has been all but ripping her to shreds for months now here in the blogosphere. I just read something in the online NYTimes that made me want to punch out my screen. You see, folks, I'm actually coming to believe that Obama is not out to just best Senator Clinton, he would like to destroy her in the process. Read the following very closely. If you can still defend your guy as some sort of defender of the light, you might want to take your moral compass in for a tune-up.

  • @ tom payne: Tom Paine You Ain't

And if you're the "best" Obama has to hope for, we're in deep trouble.

Thankfully the theory of evolution left you by the road...

  • @Kate

    Ok, I'll bite (it's late):

he would like to destroy her in the process

And what words in the article you linked to support this assertion?

  • Kate-Tex

Let me explain something to you, and let me explain it to you in black and white terms. Since black and white terms are what you understand best. Sometimes a figure of enlightened benvolence gets dragged down to into the degraded darkness and conflicted chaos of his opponent (Clinton).

  • Wrong about Obama, Right about Herself

Let's test out Geri's theory, shall we?

Consider: a State Senator, tall, handsome guy with deep commanding voice, former president of Harvard Law review and Con Law professor at the U of C, delivers the most rousing speech that anyone has heard at the Dem Convention in over a generation.

Proves to be the most effective public speaker the US has seen since Kennedy (though many who have seen his wife speak think he may actually be the second best speaker in his household).

Goes on to win IL senate seat in the biggest landslide over a republican in Illinois, ever.

Runs for president in the closest thing to a draft that anyone's seen in the 20th century.

Stops inevitable front runner in her tracks. Raises more money than anybody, ever, en route to amassing insurmountable delegate lead.

Yeah I can see Geri's point. Who in their right mind would watn to vote for such a guy?

On the bright side, she was correct when she admitted that she never would have been chosen by Mondale had she not been a woman. To that point, she had been no more than a hack, mobbed up machine politician from the Archie Bunker section of Queens.

But she's dead wrong about Obama.

Evolution has a road? Which offramp did you take? Is it right hand drive, right lane, since Darwin was English? gosh, I'm so dazzled by your command of the issues I can hardly see. that, or I'm old. And I'm not the best Obama has to offer; I'm hardly in the game at all. My wife and I, hanging onto our house by our fingernails, have give him as much as we cannot afford. Sue us. Of course, by your wreckoning, my poor wife has been abused and ill-satisfied for lo these 38 years with a tiny guy with a tiny package. And our poor daughters, subject to such male oppression that all they could do was win full scholarships, graduated with honors, get great jobs paying near six figures to start, and raise wicked smart children. the dregs. Spend your life with your pantyhose in a twist; no living being other than a lobotomized Labrador would notice. Try putting together a complex, grammatically correct sentence taking me to task for the misogynistic, myopic world view, the pathetic insubstantiality of my genitalia, and my obvious mental inferiority in the company of an intellectual titan such as yourself. As your hero, The Decider, said: bring it on. You must revere him, because you're doing what you can to nominate the candidate most likely to lose to McLame and his Bush III platform. Impress us. I just know you can. luv, tommy
