The Clintons' personal and financial affairs have already been investigated ad nauseam. He should focus on answering any serious questions raised about his own.
  • Re: Obama should focus on answering any serious questions raised about his own.

I could not agree more with Joe Conason on this fact. The attacks from the Clinton Camp and the lacklustre responses and handling of these issues by the Obama camp continues to worry psychedelic and conscientious black people like me, who would like to see a mixed race man like Obama, unite America and help put a stop to the not often spoken but generally held idea that of the blackman is of an inferior race.

I am not convinced that the Obama camp is doing enough, other than pointing accusing fingers back to his rival, to debunk the accusations. The fumbling and tactlessness of Obama advisors like Goolsbie and Power further lend credence to some of these allegations. Call it Clinton spin or media sensation, the onus of providing circumstantial evidence and convincing arguments to the contrary falls on the Obama camp.

Just as Joe Conanson posits, its is better done now than later. The Obama campaign should brace up for more ingenious and tactful responses to negative attacks and political innuendoes. This is politics! The Obama camp is lucky enough to enjoy the sympathy of the American press, it should appropriate it optimally, not just for the sake of winning the democratic nomination but the general election.
