The Clintons have made about $30 million in the post presidency years. I think it's safe to say that there is probably a lot more smoke being generated from the Clinton campaign's own fire.
The Harvard Law grads the Obamas meanwhile have amassed a "massive" fortune in recent years between $800,000 and $1.4 million -- that's poor by presidential standards. Had Obama opted for maximizing his net-worth rather than getting involved in public service -- it's not out of the question that someone with his profile would have generated a nice $10 million nest egg at this stage in his professional career. Pretty small peanuts that we're talking about.
Maybe the Clintons should release a joint-tax return and we can start talking about transparency. Never mind HRC's own windfall from cattle futures. While no impropriety was demonstrated, it doesn't take a genius . . .
