is coming down. the msm cannot continue to pass on this, just because he is the fox fav. or not?
I've been listening to this tale of adultery and intrigue, and wondering if I'm the only one who doesn't care where Rudy lifted his plow... and also figuring that yeah, wherever he went, he was fully entitled to a security detail. Staunch Democrat that I am, I fail to see the big deal here.
But the other thing? Geez Louise. I've been shocked at just how little attention has been paid to it, although knowing how much more important sex is than anything else in American politics, I really shouldn't be.
The bottom line? I don't care who Rudy Giuliani gets in bed with. Unless it's al Qaeda.
There's no doubt about that. In addition, he's a liar, an opportunist, an adulterer, a hated father, an uninformed presidential candidate, a thief, and his company does business with terrorists. No wonder every other word out of his mouth besides 911 is "terrorist" "terrorist" terrorist" - he's speaking of what he knows best--himself.
Yeah yeah, Joe, all that stuff about Emirs and Qatar (Do you call it "Gutter" or "Cutter" or the now-totally gauche "Kat-Tar"?)
Big deal. The Great American Dumbass can't be expected to process all those business deals and who done what with guys who wear a tea towel and fan belt on their heads. We want some low down dirty funky smellin' poon story.
Is it too soon to ask the question, if Rudi becomes president, instead of Hail to the Chief being played when he enters the room, do you think they'll switch it to B-52s "Love Shack"?
"The Love Shack is a little old place
where we can get together
Love Shack bay-bee, Love Shack uh huh.
Love Shack, uh huh baby, that's where it's at,
LOVE SHACK!"
Is it too soon to contemplate Judi Nathan as First Lady?
How about First Skank? First Homewrecker?
Can you see Barbara Walters interviewing her?
"First Wadee Gewiani, what was it like? The first time you and Rudy did the dirty deed? Did it give you a thrill when you thought about scwuwing a married man? Were you secretly singing, "Doncha wish your wifey was a skank like me?"
"Honestly Barbara, I wasn't thinking about that at all. I was having an orgasm before we even got to Bernie's apartment. I was thinking about the money and the power! Oh Barbara really, I mean look at that ogre. He has more hair on his back than he's got on his head. The old fool had to eat a half a bottle of Viagra like jelly beans before he could even get his pathetic little tallywhacker to pay attention. Really, it was over in about a minute, thank Gawd!"
"Pwesident Gewiani, America's mayor, the hero of 9/11, can't get it up?"
"Not only that, Barbara, but he grunted like a pig and then immediately fell asleep on top of me."
"What a charming stowee."
"It gets better. He started mumbling his ex-wife's name, you know the one, his cousin that he married?"
"He maweeed his cousin?"
"Oh yeah. Incest is nothin' for this guy. He's a real horn dog. He kept pestering Bernie to let him hide in the closet and watch while he was shtupping Judith Regan."
"How inteweesting."
"Anyway Babs, I've got to go now. I've got to keep an eye on that philandering bastard. I think he's cheating on me."
"No shit?"
It is incredibly unfair to label Qatar as some terrorist heaven - it is a country actually known in Arab world (and shunned for) as a closest US ally, hosting not only US Middle East command, but also numerous Oil and Gas partnerships with US firms, branches of TAMU, Weill Cornell, Georgetown and Carnegie Mellon Universities and much much more. Would you label all these thousands of US specialists, engineers, university professors as "terrorist helpers" like you branded Guliani?
So - Joe, as much as you'd like to bring Rudy down, this article simply didn't make any sense. Do your research first.
Regards,
Mladen Erjavec - european expatriate living in Qatar
The MSM won't pay attention, but maybe in the next "debate" Mitt could ask him about these "facts" and really stir the pot. That is, if he is really as concerned about exposing the truth, as he claims. Even suggesting using waterboarding to get to the truth.
just a thought!

I worked on contract for QGPC back in the 80s. At least the Wahabbi police quit using the quirt on western women for showing too much arm or leg in Doha. The rest of the place? A real shithole. Dubai it's not. You can have it.
It's unfair to characterize Qatar as a "terrorist haven." It is a moderate, even progressive, nation especially when compared to its neighbor, Saudi Arabia, and other nearby Muslim countries. While there are certainly hard-line conservative religious members of the government, as well as terrible working conditions and social inequities in the country, there are also those within the royal family working to modernize Qatar.
To take one example, the Education City project is unlike any of its kind in the Arab world: male and female students from 25 Muslim countries, learning side-by-side, receive instruction from top US institutions--Texas A&M, Cornell, Georgetown, VCU, Carnegie Mellon, and soon Northwestern--in engineering, medicine, political science, visual arts, business and journalism, respectively. Their classes are taught in English, typically by American professors. No female is required to cover her head. This project is not the brainchild of any American school or government, but rather the work of Sheikha Mozah, the Emir's wife. This project is already having a huge positive impact in the Muslim world. It is a disservice to the progressive members of Qatari society and the Qatari royal family to paint them all as Al Qaida-harboring Taliban clones.
It looks like Guiliani has been up to some dirty tricks for quite some time now, both while serving as mayor of NYC and as "America's Mayor" after 9/11. His seemingly many misdeeds, whatever they may be, whichever foreign government officials they concern, need to be investigated and exposed. But don't slander an entire nation in your rush to bring down Rudy. Qatar is no more a harborer of terrorists than is France, which allowed Ayatollah Khomeini to stay there for four months shortly before the 1979 revolution in Iran. Qatar is no Afghanistan, it is no Syria, it is no Iran. The US needs friends like Qatar in the middle east.
I expect this kind of simplistic argument from FoxNews, but I expect much more from Salon.
