Where may I ask,and just how far away do all the kings men go when they step down, leaving the White House grounds? just an educated guess...not far.Why did Fleisher leave in the first place? Money?Family? or just setting himself up for a grand entrance somewhere down the line,in some other role? Or because of Snows illness the same? It seemes this is the first time i've
read anything about these guys,and strangly enough dovetailing
with the mysterious Rove departure. Looking for him? he's behind the door.

One day the media will wake up to a basic fact
Terrorism is a tactic, not a philosophy. Even if you throw meaningless adjectives like "Islamofascism" on top of it. What proves that, of course, is that a Sunni group will use the same tactics against a Shiite group it might use on American troops.
And because of that, "terrorism" won't go away so long as anyone has a grievance against anyone else that they think they can take care of by resort to terrorism. That goes for people who believe as Timothy McVeigh does as much as Osama bin Laden.
Our country has been beset by forms of terrorism for a long time. The tactics of our own revolutionary patriots, Confederate raiders, Indian warriors, labor agitators and Puerto Rican nationalists are revered in some circles and were all considered terrorists in their days.
That doesn't mean one gives up fighting those who would use terrorism, but it does mean that thinking you can simply make it go away by "winning" in Iraq, whatever the hell that means.
But so long as the media will print the lies of Bush, Fleischer and their coterie that "victory" over "terrorism" is both a goal and a possibility, people will follow, and soldiers will die unnecessarily.

The Right has built an empire underestimating the average American
The "Bring the Troops Home" movement needs to answer these ads using the same tactics.
VoteVets has run some very good ads and now it's time to run more using precisely these heart-string pulling tactics.
Handwringing over the intellectual dishonesty of Ari F. and his Bush Billionaires posing as grassroots patriots is a waste of time. This is America where where the three headed monster Hitler/Sadam/Al Qaeda is REAL and where the troops who protect freedom and the 9/11 puppies will die if there is ANY dissent.
People buy this crap. And if we don't Hollywood up the truth in some ads of our own--these Billioniares-For-Endless-Occupation ads will be successful and the war will go on and on and on and on.

I've had some great fun with these GOP women answering the phone. After their "Do you believe" BS question (sometimes I interrupt it), I tell them that I got this phone number at church and then I pretend to believe that I am speaking with "my" member of Congress and lay it on thick, telling the lady to turn from her lesbo ways and find G-d, etc. Sort of Emily Littella style hard of hearing. They're always polite, I think because they believe a befuddled old man thinks he is speaking to his "lesbo member of Congress".
All of this pointless nonsense on Ari's dime.
BTW--I'm not a befuddled old man, I can make my voice sound like it though. And it sounds like I just got out of church, the tone all angry and hateful.

All this spin is making me dizzy
I`ve got to hand it to these neocons they have a propaganda machine that rivals that of Joseph Georbles of the third reich. They ask our young people to risk life and limb while the fat cat war mongers line their pockets. When bush and cheny were asked to step up to the plate in Viet Nam they ran and hid under the bed. These people have no shame or no honor.Then they have the chutzpah to question someones patriotism.
