    589 / 30 = 19.63

since april 4th, david sugarman has written 589 letters to salon, ranging from poorly-edited to incoherent to completely bonkers. 589 letters in 30(ish) days is nearly twenty letters a day. if we assume that he sleeps eight hours a day, that's more than a letter an hour from the time he rises to the time he goes to bed. this brings new meaning to the word CRANK.

i can't tell if he's being sarcastic or not when he accuses another letter-writer of falsifying blackness because his syntax "doesn't have that 'knock' to it!" but either way this is not a person to be taken seriously.

and no, mr sugarman, i am not the real peggy lipton.
