Americans are speaking up!
If Gore is wincing that he may become fodder for the media should he take another run at the White House, he may find that the media environment has changed. Bush's dismal failure has enraged Americans and we are less gullible and less willing to be quiet about it. Americans, disenchanted with the press, have taken it upon themselves to seek alternative news sources. Yes, some went to Fox, but those with a more liberal bent have become quite vocal in their disapproval of the present state of journalism and have turned to blogs, sites like Salon, and foreign news sources. And we don't mind at all writing the networks to tell them exactly what we think of them. CBSnews.com allows visitors to publish what they think on most articles. Sometimes I enjoy reading the reactions more than the original.
We get to express ourselves on Salon and CBS and this is absolutely wonderful!
