Is this really good strategy?
With the country 60% against the war, this to me seems to be an uphill battle for the republicans. More and more republicans are becoming disatisfied intensely so with this administration. To their detriment, this party quite bullheadedly pushes forward. Jack Murtha is just really a distraction from the real issues. Which is what Carl Rove is also good at. He is able to frame the fight in which the opponent gets stuck within and has to talk about. But then common sense isn't being used in the republican party at the moment anyway. Should our fight be about "cut and run" or should it be about "Useless waste of lives and resources". By fighting in a war a lot of ugly things take place. I would rather fight terrorism than be fighting in Iraq.
