OK, he may be America's worst president ever. But Bush seems to be willing to compromise on immigration reform -- and that's worth applauding.

    Joe, you're an insightful writer and you usually hit the nail on the head, but you screwed the pooch on this one.

    Bush's interest in the immigration debate is ensuring the continued supply of cheap labor, first, last, and always (which is also why he's such a big fan of the H-1B visa).

    I don't support deportations, but can't we at least try to enforce our existing immigration laws before we pass new ones ?
