You guys keep missing the real point that the goal of the ELITE is one world order. You think that the war in Iraq and next is Iran are crazy but it is all part of the plan to create fear and instability in the world.
The real story you should discuss is how the US government perpetrated 911 in order to get us to go along with their plans for control and domination. If you open your eyes it is obvious. WAKE UP before it is too late.
PS you have a problem with your letter submission application. I had to send this 2 times.

Part of the reason why Iraq is a mess right now is because those who opposed the war presented arguments such as you are advancing right now that showed a lack of military understanding and when such scenarios did not occur, and it was obvious that they wouldn't, the self absorbed lunatics in this administration took that as "Look, see we were right all along.

Lord Wolf:
"no.
*the* reason why Iraq is a mess right now is because those who favored the war presented arguments that showed a lack of military understanding and when the rosy scenarios they described did not occur, and it was obvious that they wouldn't, the self-absorbed lunatics in the administration and their parrorts/drones in the american mainstream media kept saying "we're turning a corner" "the insurgency is its last throes!" "we're building schools!" "look -- they have purple fingers, freedom is reigning!" and when those who opposed the war said "look, see we were right along," we were accused of *wanting* the u.s. to fail and *wanting* to see americans and innocent iraqis die and suffer.
those of us who opposed the war and our arguments have sweet feck all to do with the current state of things in iraq.
---------------------
Sorry, our arguments do have sweet feck to do with the current situation in Iraq, because the argument was lost. Having lost the argument, we need to see why we lost and rectify our past mistakes.
Far too many people did play the "Stalingrad" card saying there would be tens of thousands of US killed. The military campaign played out exactly as would be expected, it was very predictable. The post military campaign equally played out as predicted by rational people and it is the far more important of the two, but because of so much emphasis on the military campaign and the anti-wars ridiculous arguments concerning how that would play out, the whole "We're turning the corner" and "the insurgency is in its last throes" was given more weight than such silly statements deserved.
If Bush is prepared to attack Iran, arguments such as Iran would win military engagements against the United States are not persuasive arguments because they are not true and it weakens the argument that is important. If we can’t control Iraq post battle how are we going to control Iran?
Do not give this administration straw men to tear down. Instead focus on the important issue which is military dominance does not guarantee winning the war.
I suppose Bush is dumb enough that he could launch military action against Iran, but I don't think he's going to able to sell an Iranian adventure to the American people after the disaster in Iraq, no matter what the spin. And it's too bad. Unlike Iraq, Iran really is dangerous. It's sad to think Iran's mullahs will probably someday get the bomb because that moron in the White House went off half-cocked. Is it 2008 yet?
Sorry for breaking netiquette & posting twice, but:
To you who say that you can beat any army hands down in the field. Remember that Iran has a much higher degree of weapons, and that Iraq 2 was possible because of Iraq 1. The factor on wich a campaign against Iran will rest, if so happens, is their strikeback capacity, in other words their missiles. The american forces in Iraq are within punch. and Patriot isnt working all that well. So, a constant barrage of homegrown missiles in response against the green zone and other big bases may become a very big nuisance. Iranian army is not Iraq army, they have mountains. And the US is not exactly winning in Iraq.
There is a possibility of the Green Zone being really hard hit as a massive retaliation. They surely have the coordinates. If there is an open attack on Iranian soil, really strange laterals come into motion. Never engage a suicidal enemy unless you have to.
As the US army is learning now, when you kill civilians, their fathers and brothers get really really angry. A nuclear, or any other strike against Iran will be seen as an assault upon muslim honour, and Ahmadiyad is perfectly willing to create a few million martyrs for the cause. Iran wants this fight, thats the scary part. US confidence is way too high, you proffesional military capacity is not real impressive when it comes to sustained interaction with local populace. Or, to put it another way: You kill a lot of kids. Wich means partisan activity. Wich means losing. The US army must rethink its operational doctrine.
Bigfoots running amuck?! Oh My! Seriously, Tideswimmer, your characterization of how they've whipped up this debate and practically turned it into a "sooner or later" rather than a "yes or no" proves how well someone in this Administration understands mind-control.
And...
Mz Sookie, fear not the breakdown of Constitutional governmental structure in the U.S.. Our kind and thoughtful leaders have a contingency plan for any civil unrest that may result from that breakdown. The Dept. of Motherland Security awarded Halliburton Subsidiary KBR 385 million dollars in January for the "development" of "temporary detention facilities" should the need arise. Think of these as sort of really big free-speech zones, I'm guessing.
I'm sure, however, they had only the most idealistic of motives, and just want to insure our safety should folks here become upset and the need for martial law arise.
