Libby's testimony shows that Bush disclosed national secrets for political gain -- and makes Bush's statements about finding the leaker ludicrous.
  • How Do We Define Leak

Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe, Joe. If the President authorized Scooter Libby to share classified information on matters of national security with reporters, then it cannot be considered a leak because it was authorized. A leak is by definition unauthorized. You could argue that a leak is a leak whether it is intentional or unintentional. If water is coming out of a pipe, then the pipe is leaking; however, if a plumber causes the water to come out of the pipe, then the pipe is being drained. Clearly in this case, the President was draining national security, not leaking it.
