Goodbye, Mr. Bush

The Republican will to power remains ferocious. It will take a dauntless Democratic leader to win back the White House and restore dignity to the Constitution.

    good news!

mr blumenthal wiil advise on the process of undoing the damage done by tex caligula.

clearly hasn't read seneca's biography or imagines we haven't. but more likely he sees himself as consigliere to the next (female) gang boss: how can he lose by being so close to power?

the american imperium will run it's course, evil emperors succeeded by less-evil, but virtue and justice will not return to where they never were.

american liberals kid themselves that bush-lite discovered evil, when all that happened was that he was too stupid to cover his tracks. the real americans: the crocodile brained capitalists, the would-be licensed thugs, the religious people who are unconcerned by reports of 'collateral damage' dealt out by the thugs in service of the rich, these americans have set the world's opinion of america beyond repair by any politician.

but hilary will find it necessary to remain in iraq, necessary to remain in afghanistan, necessary to continue the quest for other people's oil, and necessary to invade or raid any country that does not submit to america's will. america's standard of living is 'not negotiable', yet not sustainable without banditry.

maybe mr blumenthal should look into the career of j. goebbels, being the apologist for power is not invariably a good choice.
