Dan Rather stands by his story
His lawsuit will attempt to show that CBS tried to suppress the report on Bush's National Guard Service and the Abu Ghraib abuses.

    For all those people saying that this is about Dan Rather's ego, I think you are wrong. It takes a lot of guts to sue CBS. They are a huge corporation with a lot of power. And I do believe Rather when he says that the lawsuit is not about his career and this particular story. This is about the media and what a joke it is right now in this country. Reporters don't question anything this administration does. If they had, we would not be in Iraq right now. The reason has to be because the higher ups are burying stories that would be unfavorable to Bush. I saw Rather on Larry King and I think he was genuinely concerned for the country and the direction it is headed. The MSM has to take a lot of blame for this. I support Rather 100%! At least someone has the guts to go up against Bush.
