Colonel who served in Vietnam, so I forwarded him the information the so called former Marine Groenhager provided about himself(unsolicited) on this thread. He had contacted a source at USMC headquarters and was told that such a person never served in the USMC."

    Right. Maybe you should have him use the correct spelling.

    "Not that I was surprised, can you imagine such an asshole surviving 20 minutes of boot camp? A eral Marine would never support ceepy frat boy who supported the Vienam war but used his daddy's influence to get out of fighting but deserted even from the champaign unit he was assigned to."

    No? How do you explain the fact that the troops in 2004 backed Bush over Kerry 4-to-1?
