The former president's secret campaign to oust the secretary of defense was rebuffed by President Bush, a source says.
  • Look! Someone put a monkey in charge! Whoo could it be...?

Ooh, bad president; ooh, ain't he a dumb-ass texan. YOU, the voters, put him into power. Salon articles and letters swarm all over the easy target: our sad ignoramus Polk of a president. How about the real issue - the US voted this guy in. Forget the .02% voter-fraud conspiracies; admit the truth: MOST AMERICANS WANT BUSH IN OFFICE. Go and argue with THOSE people. Stop with the stupid internet preach-to-the-choir easy-target tearoff letters. Find some town in and visit, and see where the votes are coming from. Because they outnumber San Francisco by tons (and face it - they're by and large an agreeable and thoughtful part of the voting population).
