Lenin, Stalin and Kim Il Sun are Marxists

Lenin, Stalin and Kim are Marxists and if I remember correctly, all anti religion. Karl Marx even espoused that religion was the panacea of the masses. I know where those of you who feel that my remarks about religion are "bad" well, I want to clarify what I said or didn't say. I assumed that my intent was evident.

To Stalin and Lenin, religion represented a threat to their own personal power. At that time, religion wasn't weaponized as it is today by the Neocons, North Koreans and the Iranian Iatolacy. Religion is the "Big Stick" in their countries.

For 8 years, it was also a big stick in the USA. Feeble minded people who couldn't understand the world situation listened to the born again Neocons and like the sheep they are; went along. All the while, the religious leaders comprised of the old "TV Preachers" and tent evangelist money scammers gained political power through the Republican Party.

These mostly southern Dixiecrats were then legitimized by the feeble minded leadership in our country. The coup de gras was when Ronald Regan joined with the Philidelphia Mississippi biggots highly representative of the biggots of the deep south and formed the Neocon party; a charicature of the real GOP.

In comunist countries, there is no state religion, BUT; communism is a religion just like Neoconism and end times prophetical beliefs are in the USA are now of deminishing religious importance. I will further state that I do not think that the Iatola and his henchmen are anti anything that doesn't threaten their power. They have weaponized religion and held it in place with the glue of fear. Just like Bush/Cheney did in the USA.

I said nothing about bringing prisoners to the USA, but since you asked: I further want to say that in my opinion, the acceptance of prisoners from Guantanomo if housed in our maximum security prisons 23 hours in their cells with 1 hour out in the dog run each day represents no threat to any of us. Of course if you are in the next cell, you may stand the chance of being assaulted verbaly by one of them. I do understand that worry if you are in prisson too.

The mullahs are so peaceful and tolerant, I can't wait for the to bring their thocratic facism to the US, Canada and Britan.

The green wave aren't happy with it either, or hadn't you noticed?

And we have enough theocratic fascists of our own, thanks. No need to import them.

There is one thread of commonality among torture regimes and that thread is religion or actualy the "weaponization of religion."

This would have been a huge surprise to Stalin. I'm sure Kim Jong Il would be taken aback as well. There have been any number of regimes where religion wasn't much of an issue that have managed to torture.

Do I also protest America's torture? YES

To those who ask if I protest the unethical and tortureous treatment of human beings by America..... yes I do. I'm appalled by the Bush/Cheney disapearance of persons and the despotic torture of innocents. These activities are upheld by the Neocons in America as proper. All for their fauxreligiosity.

Torture is wrong..... and a crime against humanity; no matter who does it. I also feel that the world court needs to try Bush/Cheney as badly as it needed to try Milosivic and tried the Nazis. Bush and Cheney are guilty and should be in the Hague. The Iatola and Amadenajad et al need to be in the cell right next to Bush and Cheney in Brussels and also tried for their crimes against their own people.

Bush and Cheney with their hubris and arrogance, committed crimes against the citizens of the US (Rendition) and also against other citizens all over the world. Now we have gotten past that with a decent man in office who has proclaimed to the world that "the US will not torture." This is an admission of crimes committed by our own citizens and acknowledgement that they should be punnished in the world court.

There is one thread of commonality among torture regimes and that thread is religion or actualy the "weaponization of religion." That one thing has tortured, dehumanized and killed more people than any nuclear or other weapon of mass destruction.

I personaly believe in a supreme being, but not the man made parts (for greed and collection of power) parts that say that people should be killed for not being a member of this religion or that religion. Only mentaly compromised persons will cling to their "bibles, courans and guns." to augment for this era and paraphrase a famous campaign line which is true.

Bush/Cheney are the American Iatolla just as the Iranian Iatolla is Bush/Cheney. The only difference is that one is located in Iran and the other (they are one in the same) is located in the USA. All mentaly deficient, frightened little boys.

The Iranian women show more courage in the tip of their little finger than the world despots that I have talked about in this writing. Neda is typical of the Iranian women that I have seen. Beautiful, courageous, intelegent and educated. Not small minded and afraid like their neocon male counerparts over 40 in Iran and the USA.

Torture in Iran

Meanwhile, the ACLU is conspicuously silent, and THE ONE continues to "monitor the situation".

Religion of peace and tolerance

The mullahs are so peaceful and tolerant, I can't wait for the to bring their thocratic facism to the US, Canada and Britan.

Americans response is SHAMEFUL!

Reading the comments on this post-and others like it, makes me SICK!! WHAT is WRONG with you people??!! I don't give a dam if your a left-wing, right-wing; Liberal or conservative-POLITICAL IDEOLOGY has NO PLACE in discussions about BASIC Human RIGHTS and the feelings of COMPASSION that people SHOULD feel for ANY group or fellow human being being tortured, or hurt and killed by ANYONE!! WHAT has happened in our society that people turn almost ANY violent account in an excuse to either spew their political views or become nasty, sarcastic or downright EVIL?? My God, no wonder people seem to rank money over basic human emotions and needs. Even our healthcare system-as a 34yr "veteran" of the profession, I have seen it go from a caring, compassionate, patient-care profession into a multi-trillion-dollar INDUSTRY, where most "professionals", from the Physician's down to Home-Health-aids, are more concerned about the amount of money in their next check, or the bottom-line of the company they work for, than the sick, dying patient under their care. Profits FIRST instead of PATIENTS First!! I read a shocking poll in an internationally recognized medical publication several years ago. It said that 78% of medical students had decided on the profession to "Get Rich"??!! Less than 15% said they wanted to be doctors because they wanted to HELP PEOPLE!!??

What happened to the values and morals of society? When times get bad-instead of HELPING one another, we're blinded to this and resort to HURTING others rather than helping? I DO believe much has to do with how we raise our children. Though I'm certainly not a "religious" person-I taught MY children Love, Compassion and Spirituality. They are also educated and responsible adults today. As adults, we should ALL take responsibility for the, frankly, scary as hell, change in our society and do what we can to TRY and change things.
