Not only has Obama matured in the past 8 months, but he's obviously got a much more succinct, cohesive team writing his speeches. Writing this as America goes to the polls, I can only hope that his maturity will see him win with humility and grace. We need a president who's a true people's champion - not a snakeoil salesman like we've had for the past 8 years and not some self-styled 'maverick' who looks not ready to lead the people, but desperate to win a big race at all costs.
