Look at all the cameras!

This fits in with this week's news about the CIA destroying torture video. The CIA has cameras in most of these places. Do you suppose they have destroyed all their video from all these places?

It's Amazing

How such banal diagrams could make my blood run so cold.

Uh, where are the renderings?

These are plans. Renderings are three dimensional views.

Render this!!

Is it only in America that some bozo would quibble over the use of the term "rendering" in an article about serious violation of American and International law?

The term is used to describe a hand drawn graphic depicting the layout of the prisoner's surroundings. In this case a plan view (and not a perspective view). No Matter, the graphic is illustrative and informative.

Get a life.

These are Renderings

They are somebody's idea of what the places looked like, rather than actual plans. What the heck? This is the weekend. We can quibble over terms.

Extraordinay rendition: A Clinton invention

So I'm supposed to impressed by floorplans of prison cells?

Extraordinary rendition is a Clinton administration invention. Sandy Berger invented the phrase 'Iraqi WMD'. And the US is dealing with an enemy that only takes prisoners to make beheading videos and thinks blowing up Iraqi day laborers is emulating the French Resistance. You Democrat partisans make me want to puke.
