wow

Giuliani makes as much in one hour as I make working my butt off day in day over the course of a year and a half. I know he worked hard to get where he is, but so did I.

And he's giving the same canned speech every time.

Wow. That's something to ruminate over.

My Nominee For Most Ironic Speaking Engagement:

On January 26, 2007, Rudy took a $100,000 speaking fee from the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.

According to the AFCEA website:

"Founded in 1946, AFCEA’s roots trace back to the American Civil War. Today, AFCEA serves as a bridge between government requirements and industry capabilities, representing the top government, industry, and military professionals in the fields of information technology, communications, and intelligence.

"AFCEA, a non-profit international association, is dedicated to supporting global security by providing an ethical environment that encourages a close cooperative relationship among civil government agencies, the military and industry."

Rudy spoke to THEM? About WHAT?

Was it a mea culpa for his doing absolutely nothing about outdated radios for firefighters and police after the 1993 WTC bombing? Or perhaps a mea culpa for ignoring his Emergency Management Director's advice by not placing the Emergency Operations Headquarters in Brooklyn, but rather in the WTC (on the 23rd floor - in a space owned by a major campaign contributor)?

Rudy should've paid THEM to instruct HIM on how he could've avoided the deaths of over 300 police and firefighters on 9/11.

Well whatever.

If someone wants to pay it, why not? I'd read the phonebook aloud if someone paid me to do it.

More info on LifeWin seminars

The following link details one of the seminars: http://www.preemptivekarma.com/archives/2006/10/the_get_motivat.html

They are a mixture of motivational speaches from big names, christian networking tips and investment/real-estate software "business opportunities."

However, I don't believe Rudy speaking at them is more of a an indictment of his character than him actively seeking the republican nomination.

Well heck....

I'm willing to say THAT over and over for a fraction of that.

Say....10%?

Money Well Spent, GM

Because I can't think of a better way for GM to regain its market shares than to hold an expensive pep rally with Rudy G as the head cheerleader.

Sure, my current Honda is better than my old Oldsmobile in every conceivable fashion, but who wouldn't want to buy a car from mayor 9/12?

LifeWin/Get Motivated

Clearly LifeWin/Get Motivated is a bureau through which he is being hired to speak at different locations. Can we get a list of Giuliani's speaking engagements booked through/paid by LifeWin/Get Motivated?
