When there was an uprising in the Syrian city of Hama in 1982 (Google "Hama Rules"), Assad surrounded the city with artillery and turned the place into a tomb for 30,000. If they are willing to do that to their own people, imagine what they would do with a nuclear bomb.

I guess you never read about the "Einsatzkommando/EInsatzgruppen" who's job it was to exterminate "undesirables" from occupied cities, They followed real combat units into places like Lodz and Kiev, escorting the Jewish (and Gypsy) and other populations out to quarries or freshly dug trenches to be shot (individually) in their thousands.
