Ted Kennedy...Classless to the end!

I think it ironic how everyone here admires him while the last thing he did before he died was to change the rules in how senators are appointed in Massachsetts; just like he did in 2004.

Ted knew he was going to die. His only thoughts and actions to his dying day were to selfishly preserve himself and his party, damn the people of Massachusetts!

Very classy, Ted!

THE LONG NATIONAL NIGHTMARE IS OVER!

The long national nightmare that is the Kennedy's is finally over! Camelot my ass!!

Hey Ted, I'd ask you to say "Hi" to Mary Jo Kopechne for us, but I'm not quite sure you will be seeing her.

A CORPSE FOR HEALTHCARE...

Let's see if Rush Limbaugh's prediction comes true...that the liberals will use the illness/death of Ted Kennedy to rename the healthcare bill after him.

Back then Ted hadn't assumed room temperature yet, but now that he has I'm sure the predictable liberal mantra will be, "Pass healthcare reform for the old (anti-American progressive) Lion!"

Maybe you people could literally take his corpse on parade with you during your upcoming Astroturf healthcare demonstrations?

SARAH PALIN OFFERS HER CONDOLENCES...

"I would like to extend our sympathies to the Kennedy family as we hear word about the passing of Senator Ted Kennedy. He believed in our country and fought passionately for his convictions."

-Sarah Palin and family

Personally, I still think America would have been a lot better off if Ted had been the one trapped in that car instead of Mary Jo.

@ jcjcjc the CLASSLESS MORON

jcjcidiot, it just so happens that Kennedy FAILED in his bid to change Massachusetts appointment laws.

And Ted Kennedy achieved FAR FAR FAR more in his life for thousands of people (the poor, working class, the disabled) than moral cretins like you EVER will.

As a Massachusetts voter, I've witnessed what the man did for the most vulnerable of our state for decades. Lowlife scumbags like you exist in pathetic little cocoons of self-indulgent ignorance and stupidity and can't even begin to understand what he accomplished.

R.I.P

R.I.P Lion of the Senate. You will be missed.

I agree with what Arsene said. The man has achieved far, far more than any pathetic right nutjob who shout at townhalls or paragons of stupidity like Sarah Palin. F**k you jcjcjc and the rest of the sheep who listen to your ignorance. You are not missed.

RIP

I woke to the sad, but not unexpected, news that Teddy Kennedy had passed on. He put up a good fight, lifelong, and in an era when liberals squeaked and euphemized, he went on as a proud liberal voice who used his position of privilege to accomplish a great deal for other people who are less fortunate.

Also not unexpected where the trolls and ghouls. They are inconsistent. It is the job of a man or a woman to atone for what they've done wrong and to seek to redeem or rehabilitate themselves. Kennedy had a lot of demons to fight and a lot of responsibilities to shoulder. He took on his brothers' families (what, no kudos from the Family Values braggarts?). He took on a demanding career as a public servant, serving longer than only two others. I personally would call a life of service rehabilitation.

Everyone speaks well now of Michael Milken for his work with prostate cancer. No comments about Drexel?

Oh, it's only politicos?

Kennedy would have laughed you guys out of the town hall.

He accomplished all this despite you and in the full glare of publicity. That's the difference between a man and a bunch of Yorkies with logorrhea.

TEDDYCARE - a memorial

In honor of his memory, WE WANT TEDDYCARE!

@jcjcjc

Senator Kennedy wrote a letter to the Mass. Gov. reccommending the law be changed to allow sppointment. He didn't change any Mass. laws nor did he have legislative power to do so. You're an ignorant putz. GTH.

@jcjcjcwhatever

Thanks for exhibiting the class and dignity we've come to expect from the right-wing trolls who come by here to enlighten us libruls with their wisdom. Most decent folks wait until the body actually gets to room temperature to dance on the grave of the recently deceased.

I'm sure you're draft-dodging, impotent junkie blowhard hero Rush will demonstrate similar class later today (Teddy volunteered for the Army, by the way). And hey, Rushy is probably right - they will name the health care bill for him, and it will pass.

MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL...

WHO ARE THE ABSOLUTE NASTIEST PEOPLE ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH?

MIRROR: "LIBERAL PROGRESSIVES!"

Look in the mirror, you idiots. You are being mimicked.

What I write here is a mirror-image of the hard-wired insolence and outright malevolence YOU classless morons dish out to ANYONE who disagrees with you, conservative or not.

If this were any conservative passing away YOU would be writing the EXACT same things, just with the relevant names. Please spare me the sanctimony for you are not righteous in your objections; you are hypocrites to the very last!

I can allow for forgiveness of Ted Kennedy and hope he rests in peace. But I won't allow that his progressive policies were good for this country. Nor will I allow that you people here have ANY credibility to criticize any part of my previous posts.

Fuck me? Fuck you!!

PELOSI'S ALREADY DRAGGING DEAD TED AROUND...

"Ted Kennedy's dream of quality health care for all Americans will be made real this year because of his leadership and his inspiration," Pelosi said in a statement.

Well that didn't take long!

Human Rights

As a Latin American human rights activist I cannot but mourn the death of Ted Kennedy. I know of many people, former political prisoners, victims of persecution and forced disappearances, that are alive today because of his personal intervention and his commitment to human rights in the region. He was not a perfect man, but the world would have been an even sadder place without him.
