Since gays and lesbians can't say "I do," some churches are getting out of the marriage business

    this is great if consrvative churches get out because they don't like gays and liberal churches get out because they don't like people who don't like gays

    then pretty soon churches and the religious ceremony of marriage will be completely separated from the civil/legal contract. It can't happen soon enough.
