O'Reilly's campaign against murdered doctor

The Fox News star had compared Tiller to a Nazi, called him a "baby killer," and warned of "Judgment Day"

The letters thread is now closed.

Bill O'Reilly isn't to blame!

The blame rests on the company's Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Rupert Murdoch. His talking heads only bring in the ratings and feather Mr. Murdoch's nest financially.

It's all about the money. And hate speech brings in a hell of a lot of money!

Ask Rush. He brags about it!

GYM DANDY

I was shocked at the fitness center today when I mentioned to a friend of 36 years that the murder of that doctor in the church was a terrible thing. I still cannot believe that I heard him spewing all that "Fox Noose" O'Reilly crap at me. And he saw nothing wrong about what the murderer did...and kept saying over and over -- "Who will protect the unborn?"

At least when I changed the subject he did admit that waterboarding was definitely torture. And he did remark that he saw "Schindler's List" and it was terrible what Hitler did to the Jews. But that might be a smoke screen.

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts (minds?) of men?

The Shadow Do.

O'Reilly's Guilty Too

During the 08 campaign I emailed friends and relatives who were forwarding vitriol against Obama and cautioned them: check your facts; check your choice of language. If such emails fell under the gaze of an emotionally unstable person, especially one with a gun, he/she could be moved by such rhetoric to take action, as in assassination. I feel the same way about O'Reilly's choice of words. The words we use matter. And sometimes it's a matter of life and death.

And oh, that those obsessed by abortion would turn some of their concern for "life" against the very same church that has sheltered pedophile priests all these long years.

Fox should fire O'Reilly

Bill O'Reilly is an iINSTIGATOR and a BULLY! Both are characteristics of a coward , manipulating other people to carry out his hostile (in this case murderous) intents.

There are anti-bullying programs beginning in Kindergarten . Apparently he missed that and all subsequent behavior modification progrms to address his rage.

A person like him is totally unfit to the screen -- even if it is Fox...

A PACK OF DROOLING LEFTIST HYENAS!!

How dare the Leftist IDIOTS on this blog blame Bill O'Reilly for the murder of this despicable, money hungry POS who murdered 60,0000 babies!!! He who lives by violence will die by violence and you should be blaming the cretin who pulled the trigger. I don't advocate killing abortionists but I don't lose any sleep over their deaths either, especially this soul-less slug! He was one of 3 doctors in the entire USA who would perform INFANTICIDE on full term infants by very brutal methods. No, I don't mourn this money grubbing fool. He will have to answer to a higher power. Leave it to the far left wing screwballs to blame anyone but Tiller the Baby Killer and the idiot who killed him.

Somebody *kills* the guy...

...and you want to take issue with somebody who called him names? You've clearly lost sight of the forest.

Elephantman nailed it.

If all of you boycott "The O'Reilly Factor" and each get ten of your friends to join the boycott, and they all get ten friends to join...

...then you'll reduce the size of O'Reilly's audience to that of Keith Olbermann!

-----------------------------

LMAO! You nailed what this is REALLY all about. The Leftist MORONS are jealous of Bill O'Reilly's ratings and would love to bring him down a notch or two. Never happen, Moonbats! You're wasting your time and making yourselves look extremely stupid!

YES, TILLER WAS BREAKING THE LAW

With the aid of then-governor of the state of Kansas (Kathleen Sebelius) Tiller bent and broke the law many times. There is proof that he adusted the fetal age in order to allow the abortions to take place. that is just the beginning, just scratching the surface of the wrong things he did. he could not have gotten by with doing these things without help from kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius so perhaps if you want to arrest someone you might start with Sebelius.

Who is the bully here?

To quote Nogaska:

Bill O'Reilly is an iINSTIGATOR and a BULLY! Both are characteristics of a coward , manipulating other people to carry out his hostile (in this case murderous) intents.

My response to this statement is that I cannot think of anyone more of a bully than a big bad doctor with his big bad doctor bag full of tricks which murder helpless infants.

Thats who I think the REAL BULLY IS.

nola1971 (I think) made some great points

about the fact-aversion of those who claim to be "pro-life." Late-term abortion is so rare that there were apparently only 3 such doctors in the U.S.

Not only is late term abortion used only on extreme cases of medical emergency or tragedy, but it is often used when there is NO chance of fetal survival, such as in acephalitic fetuses-- that is when the fetus develops with no brain, which makes survival ultimately impossible.

Isn't it funny how so many unborn advocates seem to disdain post-born, fallible people & their heart-wrenching dilemmas, as well as their privacy & their human rights?

What if someone decided war was unconscionable & started picking off people who advocate it? It would be horrible, heinous, completely unjustifiable. But the "logic" behind it would be no more bizarre than that used to "justify" homicides of anyone concerned with abortion rights (or even sometimes just nearby a clinic, in the case of bombs).

In the time it took to buy that gun, stalk the victim, drive there & shoot him in cold blood, born babies were dying of starvation, abuse, neglect-- all over the world & I daresay even in Kansas.

And so it goes.

As for the "movement," here's a quote from a Madden article (I tried to post there but the letters didn't come up):

"The man who shot him was responsible," Terry said. A few minutes later, though, he made it pretty clear what he really thought. "The whole point of this story should be, in part, what did George Tiller do that was so horrifying that it drove this man to that extremity?"

Sounds like Al-Qaeda Blame the Victim style lack of personal responsibility to me.
