the worst part is, the liberals would like to believe it is just something invented by dubya's gang, or a function of republican rule. just put dems in, and house will be cleaned.
didn't work, won't work. it's democracy or evil.
Hey Shakey baby, I bet my cousin would love to trade places with you right now, no questions asked. Unfortunately, he can't. He was in the WTC, when your thugs flew your plane full of Americans into it. The only thing they found was his finger, with a ring his mother had given him. Did he suffer before he died. I do not know. I do know I saw Americans jumping from the flames. What were they thinking? Did they even get to say goodbye to their children? Do you think their children miss their father and/or mother. If making you feel uncomfortable for a period of time bothers the weak hearted, maybe they should realize thugs like you may be back. I wonder if they will feel the same if it is a nuclear weapon next time and their children are a ground zero?

So why can't Obama? What's he afraid of, and who is he protecting? Why?
Looking forward, not back -- the cowardly Obama doctrine.
The last time we had a Democrat for President and the Democrats controlled both houses, it lasted for two years. Clinton got stupid and tried to cram down national health care. So maybe the Democrats want to get stupid again. Let's prosecute a whole bunch of persons involved in water boarding the Shake. How fast will it take for the Republicans to haul out victim after victim of 9/11. Then they will offer a few choice tidbits of info they gleaned from the Shake. Finally, I hope there are not any attacks during the next four years, because if they are, America will turn so fast it will make your head spin. In war, when the other side is not playing by the rules, if you do, you better make sure you bat 1,000. Because if you do not and it can be shown you had the guy with the info and you could not break him, it will not be pretty come election time.
How else could Americans have been tricked into do such evil things.
It must be Nazis, either living or undead Nazi Zombies.
It could be undead Nazi Vampires inhabiting the bodies of weak and evil minded people.
Nazi Bastards.
It's all their fault.
It would be a real embarrassment for countries like the UK and Italy if Poland turns out to be the first to take real steps to prosecute CIA lawbreaking in their territory... But considering the size of the US arsenal in Poland, I won't hold my breath. In light of the bald honesty of Obama's "Spill the beans and you're fucked" message to the UK, in Re: Binyam Mohamed's case, it doesn't stand to reason that functional democracies are going to put up with this heavy-handed approach indefinitely.
Shockwaves vs. Oasis Of The Living Dead vs. Zombie Lake... What's the verdict?!?!
We need to open this up,air it out and not do it anymore. If we don't clear it up soon,it'll just one more ugly uncertainty hanging over us like a dark cloud.I don't care if anyone goes to jail or not, hell,I wish they'd stop sending so many to jail.Let's just get America on the track that lives up to our ideals.

I am sorry for your loss, but some of us (including those who lost a loved one like you) realize that what the CIA and the government did, regardless of who masterminded it, is ILLEGAL, plainly and simply...yes, it would suit some of us to see this guy suffer excruciating pain, but the law does not allow it...not now...not EVER. We can exact revenge as barbaric as our enemy does, but what sets us apart from them is we are suppose to follow the rule of law...if we stoop to their level, or close to it, then we are no better than they are...is that what you want?

Yes, you are right, Bill, Obama is taking the cowardly route...why is he protecting criminals? Could he want these techniques in his quiver in the future? If so, he is making a VERY bad choice...and one that could put him regrettably on the same level of war criminality that Bush has been placed...something he better think long and hard about it.
Truth be told, the "Company', along with it's various mutant offspring, have been cultivating these "Detention Centers"/ torture dungeons for decades. Started with the Cold War, and has been expanded since. It is possible that dozens of these shitholes are still operating worldwide, and with impunity.
As vile and immoral and even illegal as the incidents of torture may have been, our government awoke on September 11, 2001, to a horror that had never been experienced on our shores before. No one knew, during those horrific moments in New York, in Washington, DC, and in the skies over Pennsylvania who was attacking us, how many were attacking us and where they would be hitting us next.
I do not excuse the methods used, but I understand that in an age of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons the urgency of finding out where the next attack might be and when it would occur overrode the common decency of some of our leaders. Our president's number-one priority is not the economy or universal healthcare, but instead it is the security and safety of the American people.
The truth must be learned. Torture must forever and always be banned. However, trying to satisfy the bloodlust of the far left by putting Bush and Cheney in prison garb and chains will only divide the country and it will make our intelligence services doubt their government will stand behind them in a time of national emergency. We need to find out everything that happened and make sure it never happens again, but then President Obama needs to do the right thing and after all the facts are out offer a blank presidential pardon to all those who engaged in acts, however repulsive, abhorrent and immoral, that were meant to save the lives of perhaps millions of people.
However despicable these acts of torture may have been, they were carried out against the people who planned the murders of 3,000 innocent men, women and children in September of 2001. While we must as a nation ensure that torture is never again a policy of our government, we do not need to shed any tears for the psychopaths who planned, funded and directed the terror and murder of September 11, 2001, and if, as President's Obama's national security director, Admiral Blair, has confirmed, that some of the enhanced interrogation methods prevented a few future 911s we should not allow those who saved the lives of so many to be castigated as evil men. Let's remember and never forget that the truly evil people were those who planned and carried out the murders of thousands, not the people who may have stepped over the bounds of our laws to prevent the deaths of more thousands.
