am I mad at the Dubya lovers who re-elected this walking-talking disaster? What's the use? They'll vote for Klondike Barbie in 2012.
"Why is It U.s. ctizen NEVER cared a hoot all the terrorist attacks against middle east populations where THOUSANDS up THOUSANDS have been killed over the decades, but when they hit the U.S.and killed UNDER 3,000 people, the Bush administration went into a frenzy of 'terrorism' and fanned it's flames? More people are killed every day in auto accidents that terrorists attacks. That attack had NOTHING to do with Iraq. The Bush administration used it as an excuse to attack Iraq."
Amen, brother.
And because our politicians have well learned that the sheep will accept almost anything as long as they can evoke sufficient fear by declaring a war on it, whether a war on drugs, a war on poverty, a war on illiteracy, or a war on terror. And because the puppeteers pulling Bush's strings wanted to garner favor and wealth for their M-I complex selves and cronies, and oil business selves and cronies.
Has anybody told Barry alternative sites?
There were two actually. The Anthrax letters and the D.C. Snipers. The snipers were Islamists. The guy who did the shooting called himself John Muhammed which should be a tip-off. They were inspired by al Qaida if not members. Anything good anybody says about Dubya is a bloody, stinkin lie.
"Well, given that Condoleezza Rice's stated goal was to get George W. Bush RE-ELECTED can we then charge that if she believed the PDB was that important she certainly would NOT have said so. Give me a break."
When did Rice state that that was her goal? And, again, Richard Ben-Veniste agreed with Rice when she said there were no specifics in the Augst 6 PDB. You may be unfamiliar with Ben-Veniste, but I think it's safe to say he supported John Kerry in 2004.
Clarke denied he was working with the John Kerry campaign in 2004. However, he admitted that he had voted for Al Gore in 2000, his close friend, Rand Beers, was a national security adviser to Kerry’s campaign, and, although Clarke claimed to be a registered Republican, the Chicago Sun-Times reported that "his only listed political contributions during the two most recent election cycles have gone to former colleagues running as Democrats for Congress."
While Clarke argued that he did not have a political agenda, the American people saw things differently. A Rasmussen Reports survey conducted on March 29-30, 2004 found that 50 percent of the respondents believed Clarke was making his accusations about President Bush "either to sell his book or to help John Kerry’s campaign." Just 39 percent believed Clarke was "merely a concerned citizen telling the truth about what he saw." A Newsweek poll found similar results: "Half of those polled said they thought Clarke was motivated by personal and political reasons, while 25 percent said he was a dedicated public servant."
Jesse Jackson knows it's time for the return of the "vanilla milkshake" administration left over from Clinton. Blacks are always turned away even though they religiously vote for Democrat scoundrels as if they were their saviors. Heh-heh-heh. Part of Bush's legacy is his promotion of blacks.
...shorter Groenhagen:
"If you can't Dazzle 'em with Brilliance, Baffle 'em with Bullshit."
Did someone leave the lid off the popcorn popper, or is that the sound of millions of tiny heads exploding?
I do not mind an article that honestly examines the Bush years, but this one is over the top in its assertions, examples and co-called "facts." It is an intellectual disgrace.
Hey Groenhagen: Pity these poor liberal lefty fools. They won’t have W to kick around anymore and now the time is coming for them to DEFEND their Messiah as he starts his terrible screw-up. If Dick Morris is right we are headed for another 9-11. Putting that bogus tool Leon in the CIA!!!??? Can you make this stuff up? Lefty’s watch way too much Star-Trek and X-Files and I fear many of them smoke too much marijuana. Must be tough living in their mother’s basement having to put up with her bitching all day long about “getting a job!”. I have to get back to work to support these pin-heads.
Good commentary, I agree with you 100%. See you around Salon on other “pressing” re-writes of history. Sigh.
What did we win? Iraq could blow up tommorrow - Kurds vs. Arabs, Sunni vs. Shiite and Shiite vs. Shiite. But even if it doesn't, what did America win there? Dubya tipped the balance of power away from Saudi Arabia towards Iran. I don't know anybody who thinks that was a good idea. If anybody won in Iraq it was Iran. Better to have left Saddam in power.
for six of the last eight years. House, Senate and White House. They had the White House for eight of the last eight. They had Congress for six of Clintons' eight. We're at the end of a Republican Era that started with Ronnie in 80. And here we are back to 1930. And they're trying to blame it all on Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi. Good luck with that.
As I read these articles and all the left wing radical nuts that add their two cents, it scares the hell out of me. To think my children and grandchildren will have to live in the world created by all these left wing nuts. IT will be worse than Cuba or any of the other countries of the World ruled by vicious cruel dictators like Sadam Hussaen.
Just imagine we can put all our bibles away from histories past and have now elected a new saviour of the world in Obama, the savior of the world, past, present and future. A nation where No one has to work, everyone will live in mansions and do nothing but drink, sleep and be merry. He'll take the place of all the past religious leaders in the history of the world. Marriage will be outlawed, everyone can sleep with a different person every night, sex and drugs will be the order of the day. There will be no terrorists, Obama will wave his hands and they will all lay down their arms, no more hurricanes or natural disasters, no more global warming. My what a great Utopia will now develop that Bush is gone and the far left takes over under the leadership of the Savior of our World under Obama and an ever loving bunch of left wings angels in the house and senate. Utopia has finally arrived.
Much of the initial coverage about Fort Hood turned out to be wrong. Is there anything wrong with that?
