"To bad shredding the Constitution, Lying us War, Nepotism, was not enough on it’s own."

"The consensus was the same, from the Clinton administration to the Bush administration. It was the same intelligence belief that our allies and friends around the world shared." - Hillary Clinton, April 21, 2004

"Because what happened was the information that we got on the intelligence committee was, was relatively consistent with what I was getting from former Clinton administration officials." - John Edwards, February 4, 2007

So if it was a lie to say that Saddam had WMD, do you believe that, given that the intelligence was consistent from Clinton to Bush, the lying started during the Clinton administration?
In the America we hold dear, high crimes and misdemeanors are identified and prosecuted in the interest of people. Every person responsible for the atrocities and malfeasance documented in this article should, in our minds, be subject to the judgment of the legal system and ultimately the will of the people.
The reality is that our Democratic President and Congress for all their pre-election posturing about the failures, weaknesses and conspiracies of the previous administration will sit on their hands when push comes to shove.
BECAUSE .... THE DEAL HAS ALREADY BEEN STRUCK.
Some will ask to be excused from the process saying the costs are too great and others will argue that such actions are counter to the healing that we as a nation must undergo.
If you've demanded Justice and a prison cell for George W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, Richard Bruce Cheney, Condoleezza Rice and the countless underlings responsible for the many atrocities visited upon the people of the United States of America, roll over and go back to sleep, there's more nightmare to come.
Meaningful election reform - One might think the Help America Vote Act would have resulted in better-run elections. You would be incorrect yet again. Instead, it was yet another scheme to give another corrupt corporation a whole bunch of our money in exchange for a system that not only doesn't work, but actually makes election fraud easier. Ask Saxby Chambliss.
So eight years after the Florida recount, we still have problems with voting machines, spending on elections has continued to go through the stratosphere, cheating on campaign finance is now done in the light of day, the same voter-suppression tactics that were used in Florida have been refined and spread to other parts of the country, and now that the economy is in the toilet, it is unlikely that anything will be done about it anytime soon.
"I'm John McCain, and I approved this message." Really? That regulation is about the most useless thing I have ever heard of. All it does is cut the actual ad time from 30 seconds to 28. You put a pre-recorded clip of your candidate saying this, and tack it on to the beginning or end of every sleazy campaign ad, and you're technically complying with the law, but did the candidate actually sign off on this? And who really cares?
McCain-Feingold and HAVA are both chock full of useless little gestures like this, designed to give the perception of clean elections without actually cleaning them up. Like health care, this is another thing politicians talk about a lot, but once they actually get elected, the result is disappointing at best. I would have to say that the efforts of the last eight years have actually made the situation much, much worse.
It pleases me to see someone arguing that Bush voters are to blame as much as Bush and you're right that they vote for Bush because they want to see women jailed for abortions, but that will never happen because without legal abortion, the Republicans couldn't even win the position of dogcatcher.
Looks like this here BDS is a hard disease to shake, like some kind of immune disorder or cancer even.
Bush Derangement Syndrome might require a two month celery juice fast and lots of high colonics, my frems.
You think it's gone. You feel OK again. And then you wake up in a sweaty rage screaming:
'THAT BUSH!!! F*&^!@ING BUSH! THERE HE GOES AGAIN!'
It must be awful.
Could it be that Saloniks are sorry to se W go, now that B O's largely Jewish Cabinet is in place? I hear that Barry even has Joe Lieberman lined up for a job as soon as Hillarity screws up at State.
You conservatives realize you can scream into the wind all you want, it's not going to change a thing right?
Bush inherited a recession? Oh really? Will you please STOP blaming 9/11 for causing the first recession of Dubya's Administration then? You Republicans need to make up your mind on this one you can't have it both ways: Either he inherited the recession (from Bill Clinton of course who you love to blame for everything) or 9/11 caused it. It can't be both.
9/11 not his fault? Well no. But any criminal court would CERTAINLY charge Condolezza Rice if not George W. Bush for criminal negligence in an instant for ignoring a memo entitled "Bin Laden determined to attack inside the United States" and then use, as a series of reasons it was: a) at the bottom of the stack of memos, b) not the MOST important memo then-National Security Advisor Rice received and c) simply didn't seem that urgent.
Two more words for you morons: HURRICANE KATRINA. If you think that standing by and watching a whole city drown (and no, no one is trying to blame him for the flood and you know it, you just choose to be ignorant, we ARE blaming him for the response) is going to somehow be vindicated by history you're on even more coke than your hero Georgey Boy was in the '80s.
Not to mention the next Great Recession Dumbya has given us.
Look if you Rethug cretins want to try and rehabilitate a Bush's reputation why not start with BUSH I who had the sense to: a) stop before actually ousting Saddam Hussein who was a bulwark against Iran and a number of other nutty Islamic militant regimes and organizations (he HATED and acted AGAINST Al Qaeda) , b) get United Nation support for the effort he did undertake, c) be tough on BOTH Palestine and Israel and d) actually take tough, unpopular measures to begin fixing the economy whether than ruining int further a la his dumbass son.
George W. Bush is a miserable failure. And you helped put him there. Live with it losers.
