This is a shrewd move on Obama's part. Warren is a huckster, like all the tv evangels', but in this case, more of the moderate religious types will accept his lukewarm ideology and look at Obama's invitation as a sign of moving in their direction.
So now that warren will be in the most national of spotlights, he will have to show that he isn't among the more radical christo-fascists that make up most of the republican party. If he does attempt to portray in his words, the idea of "America is a christian nation", then Obama and followers will have a field day of showing the world that despite all the talk of compassion, love, etc.,in their religion, they would rather have divide than unite the nation.
Never trust anyone that talks for a living, especially if they only work on Sunday.
