    One nation?

Neptunefame, you say "The south cares little about northern 'elites' or unions or any of that mess. Give us jobs! If you want to secede, we'd be all for it. I think the south can do just fine with its beaches, agriculture, and whiskey stills without the dying north."

I seriously doubt you'd do just fine without Northern tourists and consumers.

And you say you don't care if our economy is "dying" while claiming there were no charity donations from us following Katrina, an insult to everyone from north of the Mason-Dixon line who gave countless hours and sent millions to try to help the Gulf Coast.

The Salon article pointed out that it is Southern Republican senators who want to destroy Detroit's auto industry and break the UAW, that's not bias, just a fact.
