What an idiotic premise. If someone is killed for a reason that is not religion, then he is killed for secularism?
That is so pathetic it is mind-boggling.
So you make a list of wars and massacres and atrocities that are not driven by religion, and you count those tallies under "driven by secularism"? Because with every death, the killers were thinking to themselves, "Here we strike another blow for secularism!"?
This is not a zero-sum game. The choices are not limited to "pro-religion" and "pro-secularism." Can you tell the difference between "killed for a secular reason" and "killed to advance the cause of secularism"?
Every person who put forth the idea that WWII was fought for secularism has placed himself permanently on the Too Dumb To Pay Attention To list.
