Sarah Palin called him a terrorist, Barack Obama called him an acquaintance. A Salon editor who knew Ayers back when talks to the ex-Weather Underground member turned Republican talking point.

    And, sir, since you are such a renowned economist, could you please elucidate the need to bail out General Motors, sir?

    You do realize, I am sure that Deere and Caterpiller have enjoyed great success while our domestic autos have gone into the proverbial crapper, right? I was in Ireland recently and the farmers there are very attached to their beautiful Deere tractors, and you see Cat equipment all over London as she gets ready for the Olympics. But no Chevies!

    You do recognize that Deere and CAT stood up to the very same union that GM et all totally caved in to. So, why should we bail out GM when we let Bear and Lehman die, sir?

    Must you Democrats cave in to every union goon, sir?

    BTW Madeline Allright did the fox trot with N Korea's Dear Leadre, and that has made all the difference, right, sir?
