I watched Fox News for five hours last night

As Obama's victory became undeniable, Brit Hume moved beyond grief and anger with Karl Rove. And Juan Williams justified his existence.

An Obama victory is the best and worst thing for them

For the pundits and Limbaugh-followers, an Obama victory means four (hopefully eight) years of railing against them demmycrats, whipping up enough anger in the red states to fuel more booksales and higher ratings. They were clearly at a loss during the Bush presidency, with no one to complain about (it was amazing how much the Clintons would come up years into the Bush presidency), and seeing all their cherished ideas about how gov't should work crash and burn.

But for the Fox news network itself, I'm very curious. How does a propaganda network function without its head? I always assumed that part of its draw was in telling people "yes, the people in charge are wise and good, and everything they do is what's best for you." Given the current Democratic dominance, can they function as a news outlet of nearly pure negativity? Will people watch hours and hours of that stuff every day? I can't see how they survive without serious changes.
