    His Maverick days are over

I feel sorry for McCain. I watched him destroy his hard earned reputation and sell his soul to the Devil for his chance at the Presidential gold ring. How many of us could actually say we could resist this prize if it was dangled in front of us? He was a gonner from the start because he let those same people who worked so hard to destroy him when he went up against Bush for the nomination work to work for him in this election. He let them chose the Devil's Daughter - the Barracuda - as his running mate without looking at her own track record. I think that he tried to be a good American in the past. I don't agree with his leaving his disabled wife to marry a millionairess but he did serve his country and managed to endure his prisoner of war captivity. Let's see the old McCain again sans Satan's influence.
