Ryan vs. Maurice On the Matter of Taxing Churches

The last comment on taxing churches is spot on. They are big business and they make their money off of the "Lord's Work." However they make it, they make it. It is big money.

I only wish that I had a seared conscience because I could get up there and preach with the best of them. And rake, I mean, and rake, in, the cash.

But alas, I fear that my hypocrisy would be my unpinning. God always dings me. Ryan wouldn't preach either because he doesn't think you should profit off of religion.

So, it isn't religion after all: It is Big Business. Ryan says that government should not be involved at all with churches, including removing them from taxation. I say, if they use religion as a cloak, they should be taxed.

Ryan says that people's spirits will be "taxed". The people giving money are already taxed. I say, wolves in sheeps clothing should be exposed and properly taxed!

Ryan says, "Why Grandma, what big teeth you have!"

    Maurice said, "Good night everybody!"
