Racism

Racism is for people who are spiritually sick, unconscious, unwell, feeling they didn't get enough in the material realm where there's never enough since enough only happens spiritually.

Accusing anyone (else) of godlessness is insane. We are all children of one Creator. We can forget but we cannot be without. We can deny. We got free will. We are not the same as the animals and angels. But we are responsible because we choose.

You can only scare people who don't have true faith. And only people with fake faith would do that. So here's a good way to know who's who and what's what as this long long long campaign winds down.

They love FEAR

4,000 low information voters. Palin represents the incompetent, ideological, subset who have kidnapped the republican party.

Do you want these people running our country. Get out and vote for Obama. Make GOTV calls.

Circular reasoning accusation begs the question

Okay farnsworth,

Let me spell it out for you, since you obviously have just come upon this thing called circular reasoning.

If someone accuses Barack Obama of hiding his socialist/Marxist sympathies, and there is evidence showing such accusations to be false, then why not open the records? Case in point: Barack Obama claimed that he's not a friend of Ayers; rather, he sais: "he's a guy in my neighborhood". The LA Times has video footage of Obama and Ayers at the same party in 2003 (two years after the two worked together on the CAC). Why not encourage the LA Times to disclose that video? If there is proof showing it all to be a farce, then let's see it.

Why not disclose his academic record? Everyone else does it. Isn't it legitimate that Americans see (at least in part) his college and law school records? Of course it is. He's seeking to become The Public Figure. You who make light of this, are defending the indefensible. No matter how snide your remarks are, you know that his failure to disclose is wrong, and if it were a Republican, you and the media would be all over it.

In this case, more than in most the historian's dictum holds true. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. Here we have several specific cases were we know there is evidence of something: either Obama is an upstanding guy who is being vilified by a right-wing cabal, or there is something to the accusations. All he needs to do is show the American electorate. Wouldn't you like to thumb your nose at the likes of me? If he gives full disscloseure, and he's all that he says he is in his promises, then there's no reason not to elect him (party politics aside), and the whole question of "race" can be done away with, because he'd win in a landslide. But I'm not willing to have faith in a man's word that he is whom/what he says he is. Apparently you are.

Arlen Specter

Most people have forgotten this re Arlen Specter and racism, but back in the 1970s when he was district attorney in Philadelphia, Specter was a prominent enabler of the racist thug mayor and former police commissioner Frank Rizzo.

Go ahead, take a real stand against socialism and put your money where your mouth is.

I hereby challenge all those who are denouncing socialism to stand up and put your money where you mouth is. Sign a pledge saying you won't collect Medicare now or in the future. If you have kids in public school, pull them outta there. Hand back to the government every mortgage deduction you've ever taken on your house. Then I'll take you more seriously.

Obama/Biden's biggest Plus: NOT BEING MCCAIN / PALIN

Sarah Palin doesnt believe in Evolution....FAIL

That right there, is ALL I need to know.

Anyone who does not believe in evolution is a moron, and therefor she is not qualified to be anywhere near high office, due to the fact that she is a delusional idiot.

John McCain thought/thinks invading Iraq was like the greatest decision ever....FAIL

John McCain thinks spending $3,000,000,000 a week on Iraq is super awesome, but thinks spending $3,000,000 on a Planetarium is total BS!..... FAIL

John McCain thinks/though that Iran/Saddam was in league with Al-Quada....FAIL

I could do a few more, but It gets late,

McCain and Palin have pretty much disqualified themselves, by being morons and pandering to morons.

so there is no more argument for me.

It is over.

Obama is not the greatest person ever in the world, and he is not going to be super president, and I dont agree 100% with him on everything....HOWEVER, Obama/Biden have one thing that McCain/Palin does not........and that is....

NOT BEING MCCAIN / PALIN

perfect example

Thrasybulos -- sadly, you're a perfect example. There's lots of proof and evidence out there, you just choose to ignore it or disbelieve it.

According to your logic, there must be something damning in Sarah Palin's medical records because she hasn't released them, even though all the other candidates have. By your logic, she must be hiding something! Why isn't the media writing about it? Why aren't you calling for an investigation? Some people [not me] believe that Bristol Palin is actually Trig's mother and that her current pregnancy is a hoax. By your logic, I should demand you prove otherwise!

You're basically arguing that the fact that something hasn't been investigated *proves* that there's something to hide, when really it might just mean *gasp* that there's nothing to investigate.

One more time

I want to be soooo thankful of the awful, bruising primary that I thought at the time was going to risk the general for whichever Dem got the nomination.

The RW can keep yelling that we don't "know" Obama, after a year of Wright, Ayers, Rezko, etc. I'm so glad the Hillary camp had a top notch oppo camp that was able to unearth the issues so they were known and pounded into the ground by professionals. I'm not mentioning the Muslim stuff, because that appears to have been pushed by the R's as a way to smear Hillary and Obama. A twofer.

The RW now sounds like it did when they kept mentioning Whitewater as the biggest. scandal. ever. The vast majority did not care, not because they didn't understand the issue, but because they did.
