For those of you who don't like socialism

You must hate this bailout

you should give back/refuse your social security

you should never be able to reap the benefits of medicare or universal health care (which hopefully obama will implement)

And tax and spend?? That's what the government is supposed to do, idiots. We pay taxes then the government is supposed to SPEND it on stuff that benefits all of us. The difference is McCain will use it to keep the Iraq "war" going, give his rich/corporate friends the money, drill baby drill, all that shit and NOT improve infrastructure, roads, health care, etc, etc

The democrats have historically been BETTER at handling the money than the republicans. Bill Clinton ring a bell??

So yes, to reiterate, if you vote for McCain and especially with that dimwit, secessionist Palin, I can't think of one newspaper that I read, I can see Russia, on the ticket - then you are an idiot - and I wish there was some rule where if you talked so much shit about Obama you don't get to benefit from all the good he will do.

Oh Canada Oh anywhere else

I read this article in wonder at the lack of education of the people, the nastiness of the Republicans, and they power of a Davey Crockette Jesus.

Any way I posted this a couple of days ago

The Low Information Voter

How, perfect, how polite and how ridiculous. This must be the best new political phrase of the year. How about the Brain Dead Voter, The Irresponsible Voter, The Failed Citizen Voter. The Parsing Patriot...yes how great is this voter.... a patriot sublime.

You see it on the news, and especially with the Republicans as they stroke the mooks, "you are the best, the hardest working, the finest, the most patriotic, the toughest, the most heroic, the best looking... you are just fucking great... yes stroke, stroke, stroke. It is the Politics of Jerking Off. And of course the Low Information Voter is right there with it. Not knowing the constitution, poorly read, poorly informed, poorly fashioned and yes with the collective IQ's of a bunch of chickens, nope not that bright, make them Turkeys.

Such is the nature of dumbocracy you say, it is the best system of the oh so many bad. Well, Deeply thinks let's try something new...how about a system that requires the answering of a few simple questions before you vote. Define Capitalism, define Socialism, Define Marxism, and when and how these systems evolved as an idea and as fact. Who wrote Utopia and when?

If the government is like a business.. compare and contrast... Oh yes and why?

Explain why you should be allowed to vote. Is it natural law or just the Rights of Man....NEVER HAPPEN... How about who said "let them eat cake" and did she really say it? Who was Defarge and what was she doing. What novel starts like this "It was the best of times, the worst of times" and who wrote it.

I know, I know 'this is a great country'...you say? Well, all we ever really had was scenery and an idea... and the low information voter could not even tell you what that idea is or was...

So Vote for Obama, but remember it is only an excercise in hope. Nothing More!!

The Guillotine is just around the corner.

Something to be proud of...

Although deep down I do believe that these are attempts at stirring the worst in the majority in or great nation, I do however have some sence of hoep that these are just words with no intention behind them. However, the proof of the impact is in the response.. Its in the way the intended constituents are receiving the words.. It is obvious that the words are causing these fears and phobias to surface. Whether its justified or not, that cant be overlooked or tolerated. Through out this campaign, both democrats and republicans alike have attempted to stroke these flames.. Although to Hillarys credit, she has been stalwart in her support for Barack.. No matter what her reasons, she has actually proven to be a very big person with huge compassion for America and Americans.. This I cannot say about McCain/Palin. From the lens of a conservative liberal, I see from them all that it wrong and nothing that is right. Baseball and apple pie no longer is the mantra for true democracy and what America represents..

How about baseball, apple pie, basketball, fried chicken, soccer, tacos, ping pong and shrimp fried rice.. That seems to me to be the new America that everyone is satisfied with and everyone can be proud of. Not everyone in this nation subscribe to the conservative mantra.. Many have never, and many more reject it for what it is today. demagoguery...

It was not all that mean

I am a proud supporter of Obama and a critic of McCain/Palin/Bush/Rove/right wing hate mongering thugs. I began reading this article expecting worse behavior than occurred throughout the Republican's sick campaign. Perhaps because of my expectations, based on the title given to this article, I found myself thinking - that the behavior and statements, with the exception of Specter, not all that mean. In fact, it felt less intense to me than what occurred in past rallies, many of which were viewable via YouTube, etc.

McCain Gets Mean?

Despite all the glowing things that tv pundits say about the John McCain they used to know, I think that in his heart John McCain is nasty to the core based on articles I've read about his treatment of women and his belief in his entitlement to the presidency. Even though he has been "muzzled", I hope that Joe Biden has stopped prefacing comments about McCain such as "He's a dear friend of mine" because McCain never says such things in return before attacking Biden - another example of

his meanness.
