You throw out a great many accusations against Obama and demand proof that they are not true. However, in mamy cases it's virtually impossible to prove a negative...that something is NOT the case. The fact of the matter is that when you're going to make an accusation THE BURDEN OF PROOF IS ON YOU!
Well the Republicans know what they are doing when it comes to fear tactics. We have a post where the poster believes that Obama is hypnotising the voters, but he is immune to hypnotism so he can see right through it. We have people comparing the obvious Republican hope of racisism, to what they claim is obvious sexism against Clinton and Palin. Nobody is claiming that you cannot vote against Obama and still not be a racist. Nobody should be claiming that you could not like Hillary or Sarah, and yet not be sexist (my wife who was a fairly active feminist in the 70s, can't stand Clinton and Palin, although she does believe that Clinton is qualified but Palin is not).
The simple fact is that the McCain campaign has been fighting this campaign on the basis of a culture war, rather than any quantifiable qualification or issues. They more than hint at the fact that they believe Obama will change America in a cultural way, in a way not favorable to their biggest demographic, white evangelicals. To be honest, I doubt that Obama has any such plans, but he clearly is different, and the McCain Campign is seizing upon those differences to scare voters.
At the end of the day we have a failing economy, a war that will last just as long as we are willing to keep funding it, a world oppionion of the US that is the lowest in history, and the most divided America since 1865. McCain is on the wrong side of every one of those issues. If we elect McCain following the kind of campign he has run, and based on his expressed position on the issues, we should fully expect things to get much worse rather than better.
That doesn't mean the evidence needed isn't out there!
Can we trust someone who isn't forthcoming with proving right wing smears for the right wing?
First and foremost, if you want to be taken seriously, please get the pronunciation of the town right before saying anything about it. It is not Per - kay - see emphasis on second syllable it is perk-a(short a) - sea emphasis on first syllable.
Second, it was so not a mean rally. Get the facts straight before talking about fear-mongering. Spend a moment to look at issues before writing this crap.
And really, please, get Perkasie spelled right!
Your vote for socialism counts, however, so our efficient government can give more of your money to a deserving person. It will be deducted so you won't miss it.
I mean remember those dark days of communism during the 90s under Comrade Clinton... Obama threatens to take us back to those days of Stalinist progressive taxation. When will Warren Buffet, The Financial Times, and The Economist understand that communism doesnt work!
legacy is ruined.
Surely, you didn't mean that McCain was getting mean. McCain's campaign has been defined by vicioous lies attempting to characterize Obama as a terrorist, a socialist, a communist, un-American, a Muslim (while that shouldn't be considered an insult, it shows you where McCain's attitude is regarding US Muslims), "That One", a baby killer, and the list goes on. The media has gone easy on McCain, refusing to define this behavior for what it is, and simply calling it "negative campaigning". In reality, it is ugly racism and xenophobic ranting that turns his rallies into lynch mobs. When things get ugly, McCain simply smiles and allows the cries of "kill Obama" to resonate through the crowd. My question is this. If these people believe McCain's propaganda and think Obama is a terrorist, a socialist, a baby killer, doesn't that justify violence against Obama? A couple of skinheads were recently apprehended for plotting to kill Obama. Do you think it will end there? My contention is that McCain is more than mean-he's is a potential accessory to murder.
Have you ever seen a life form evolve?
Has anyone ever seen a life form evolve?
Has any unicellular organism in any petri dish in any lab in the world at any time ever evolved into a complex multicellular organism?
Unlike you, I know the answers to those questions.
If evolution is a generalized scientific principle why is the last time is was working was during the cambrian explosion?
You believe it because someone told it to you, not because it is true or real.
Evolution is creationism dressed up in a lab coat instead of a priestly robe.
Now who is the moron?
Natural selection is real.
Extinction is real.
Mutation is real.
Devolution is real.
Creationism and evolutionism are fairy tales.
Open your eyes...what planet of paranoia are you living on?
"Now who is the moron?"
uhm,..apparently you. Sorry, but that was nonsense.

"Tasteless American Satire for the Ill-Informed"
"McCain GETS Mean"...? McCain IS mean. Geez, someone hasn't been paying attention.
I live near a small town about 30 miles east of Dallas, Texas. That would be verging on east Texas, and many are aware of the reputation this region has regarding race.
Recently, my husband and I were driving through the neighborhood where many of the town's black residents live. I remarked to my spouse that it was strange because I didn't see any Obama signs in the yards. After a moment's thought, I realized that it wasn't a lack of support for Senator Obama that was the reason. I reluctantly came to the conclusion that these black citizens are most likely afraid of racism and the possible consequences of showing overt support for Obama. I wonder how many other small towns are the same as this one?
Isn't this a truly sad and powerful statement about the racism and fear that still exist to a frightening degree in much of the south? McCain, Palin, and men like Specter should be ashamed to incite such racial hatred in order to take advantage of it for political gain. That kind of manipulation certainly does not jibe with McCain's motto of "Country First."
