It appears that there are a quite a few people that have yet to emerge out of the dark ages, where ignorance and superstition rule. McCain and Palin et al should be ashamed of themselves for their gross pandering to the most backward impulses of an ignorant population.

Bzzt, sorry, but communists had legit socialist cred. Stalin nationalized agriculture, improved social services, brought gender equality to hiring. He also silenced criticism.
Obama silences criticism. His lawyers have sent threatening letters to TV stations who dare to broadcast paid anti-Obama ads, even trying to sic the feds on the stations for "misleading voters." No president since Nixon has tried to silence their opposition, while Obama does so reflexively. I fear for the First Amendment as much as for the Second Amendment under an Obama administration.
Sarah Palin simply isn't a fascist by ANY stretch of the word. She's just an ordinary, opinionated, mainstream person. And in this election cycle, if your opinions aren't far left, then you're labeled a fascist by those on the left. It's absurd. Barack Obama is more of a Stalinist, by far, than McCain or Palin is a "Nazi."
The fact that Obama and McCain both support the disastrous bailout and that Pelosi and Bush both support the bailout, convinces me that I don't need to give a fuck about the economy. The fat cats are taken care of, and Obama is on their side (probably snorting coke with the Wall Streeters at some orgy). What really matters is that he wants to seize the public airwaves for leftist propaganda, seize all guns except maybe curios and revolvers, seize everyone's 401K accounts.
Obama is crazy-nasty-scary.
How can any American woman be in favor of Sarah Palin? She stands for everything we all (should) be against.

Guns in general: A friend who likes to target practice, said last week in CT there was a little boy with his father shooting a MACHINE GUN. Does he need this practice for, his video games? ABORTION Sarah is against abortion even if the father of the child is the mother's RAPIST or INCEST PERSON. This is simply SICK.
BTW EVERYONE is against abortion. But Birth control fails, and abortion will happen no matter what , when women decide there is no way to have this baby. Shouldn't it be safe and clean?
THE BRIDGE TO NOWHERE I assume everyone knows that Palin was for this stuid bridge while running for governor, and opposed it when Congress said NO. Congress, in all its wisdom, however, said, You can keep the money but for something else. So she built a ROAD TO THE BRIDGE TO NOWHERE. How smart is that?
ABSTINENCE ONLY Palin believes in abstinence only sex education. How has that worked out for her? (one month pregnant when married) or her daughter (six months pregnant and unmarried.) How stupid can a person be?
I just have to say that I was ready to vote for McCain BEFORE the advent of Sarah Palin. I disagree with everything she stands for. So I have voted for Obama. Shame on you Mr MC Cain.Shame Shame Shame. We American women are too smart to vote for an uneducated woman like Sarah Palin.
The Theocratic are scared by nature. That is what brought us the Islamic terrorists, why Theocratic governments like the Taliban and Iran are so afraid of the west and democracy and make such inroads with a certain part of their constituency. Are the Christian extremists who don't believe in evolution, who believe in preachers who protect them from "witches," who think the world is about to enter the end days (no, they aren't talking global warming) any less crazy and scared than the other Theocratic groups around the world? No. They are the same poor souls who are easily sold a bill of goods through fear. In many countries these poor people are turned into terrorists. Luckily we've had few incidences in this country (Timothy Mcveigh and these two poor souls who just planned to kill Obama and 100 other black people so far have been the exception). Fortunately, we have checks and balances in our democracy to keep these Theocrats (whether Islamic or Christian) in check. And if we're lucky, the Palin's secessionist party will pull Alaska out of our the union and these folks will have place to congregate and let the rest of us have our democracy, our religions (mine is Catholic)and our elitist intellectual pursuits in peace.
Barac Obama is not a socialist. Stop listening to the fear mongering of the McCain, Palin ticket. I just cannot believe how stupid some Americans are.
