A scary Halloween with Sarah Palin

In central Pennsylvania, the Republican base is afraid of Obama, and lost in fever dreams of a neo-Soviet nightmare. But it's all in God's hands.

    Okay, I support Obama but...

    All this talk about "God's plan" demonstrates exactly whose side the nowadays Republicans would have been on in the revolutionary war.

    They believe in what amounts to the divine right of kings. It is a feudalist belief system. They talk about freedom and all of that, but when you get right down to it, these guys still think America needs a king.

    Don't accept it as "God's plan." Consider it "the will of the people" and accept that, but to say "Its God's plan" is nothing more than:

    1: Accepting fuedalism as previously stated and;

    2: Copping out of your responsibility as a voter.

    The thing with Democracy is you cannot afford to cop-out of your decisions as a voter, you have to vote according to what you think is best, and if you are such an ignorant dumbass that you think Obama is a communist, then you need to cure yourself of at least half of that condition before you are ready to vote.

    Who gets elected as president is not up to some mythical genocidal maniac. It is up to Americans, who might be known for their arrogance, but aren't that bad.
