    Well at any rate he's a useful distraction to the fringe

    The fringe, I mean the Salon/Kos Fringe loves to hate. So it's a good thing they have someone to stick their hate to. Otherwise they'd be marching around with giant puppets protesting cruelty against Tofu or whatnot.
