Palin 'pals' around with reationary anti-US, Confederacy-loving folks, who want Iran to help them in the UN. I do not see anything here, however, that shows they are 'terrorists'. Of course, doing business with Iran doesn't look good to anyone.

This is quite clearly a line of attack the Obama campaign could use. Why is someone who supports Alaskan independence and 'states rights' trying to be vice-president of the ... U.S.? And why would the confused and angry John McCain pick her?

I myself support Minnesota joining Canada - but on a left-wing basis, not on one where we just hoard all the oil, kill all the animals and melt the glaciers. I think the whole U.S. northern tier, and California, should join Canada.

The guilt-by-association of Obama meeting with Ayers a few times is laughable. Ayers is now a professor at the University of Chicago (!), one of the top education institutions in the U.S. He hasn't been in the Weatherman for 40 years. THis shows the desparation of the Republican Party, and Palin especially. These methods are actually the same as red-baiting in the 50s and McCarthyism. Screaming about 'terrorism' is just the newest red scare. Same method, different decade. They have nothing to offer people except slanders. Nothing ever changes in this country.

I know someone who was injured by a bomb left in a litter bin at a railway station by some of these megalomaniacs. She had to endure extensive skin grafts on her thigh and was lucky to escape amputation, either from the bomb itself or through surgery.

William Ayers did not give himself up as an act of remorse. He was on the run for years and eluded the FBI which, in itself, calls that agency's competence into question. If they'd done their job properly, New York might have been saved the terror of 9/ll.

We in Canada are having an election, with some nasty anti-Liberal ads, and looks like the Conservatives will win again. However, our Conservatives are somewhat left of American so-called leftists in many respects - they don't bother trying to repeal abortion or gay marriage or welfare or socialized medicine, even tho their leader is a evangelical. They're just uptight and grey about money and "culture"...
