Meet Sarah Palin's radical right-wing pals

Extremists Mark Chryson and Steve Stoll helped launch Palin's political career in Alaska, and in return had influence over policy. "Her door was open," says Chryson -- and still is.

The letters thread is now closed.

Independant Voter and US Army Vet.

I am really getting tired of the McCain camps mud slinging. This will be the first time I have voted for President since 1992.

McCain had ample opportunity to confront Obama at the last debate and decided not to. What does that say about his leadership??

After the debate he allowed his campaign to continue the attacks against Obama. It is clear that he is desperate and continues to fall in the polls, but resorting to personal attacks this late in the game when so much more important issues are at stake is just plain stupid! Do we really need another stupid politician in the White House? NO.

McCain claimed at one of his town hall rally s that he will bring it up at the next debate, I doubt that he will, because that would be the ultimate in political suicide. Obama will not falter and he has proven that over the last 2 years. I can't remember ever seeing a politician with as much charisma as Obama has displayed. McCain will fail, maybe that's why he didn't bring it up in the last debate.

Sarah Palin was sleeping with the enemy for 7 years.

There is nothing more important that show the "association" of the Palins to AIP. I was looking forward to your presentation. It was a total confused mess! Between Ms. Maddow's shrill screaming that sounded like Palin, her nervous grimaces and your idiotic confused presentation, you achieved a total defeat. Above all, Todd Palin was hardly mentioned. They married in 1988, Todd joined AIP in 1995. He must have done it with Sarah's full agreement. She was sleeping with the enemy for 7 years.

Ms. Palin exhorts her audience to a frenzy. Who knows where does it lead? You may be able to stop them by showing the secessionist association. Hurry up! And be smart! In this god-damned MSNBC organization there is nobody who can straighten you out?

To micro ms

Another screed that omits all sorts of inconvenient truths.

"Let's run a little compare and contrast."

Yes, let's.

"I'd never heard of the group or Ayers until this last year,"

Really? You obviously know little about the 60s and 70s.

"so I did some hunting around on the internet to see what was out there on the weathermen. The bombing Maureen mentions that killed the police officer in California was never definitively tied to the weathermen. (However, they were bombing at the time, so it could have been them.)"

What are you talking about? Maureen said (correctly) that the Weathermen shot and killed two police officers in California, and one of them is serving a jail sentence for this.

The point is that there is absolutely no doubt that these people are known terrorists and murdered innocent people for radical political ends.

"By the mid-seventies, the group had largely broken up, in part due to a split between those who wanted to continue their actions, and those who wished to go public, and potentially face charges. Ayers was part of the latter, and he turned himself in in 1980."

That's rather misleading: he got off on a technicality.

"No charges were ever filed against him and Ayers is now a professor and well-respected Chicago citizen."

You mean that YOU respect this man who is either directly or indirectly responsible for murdering innocent people? I sure don't. I despise him. The University of Illinois should not employ him.

"So, when Obama was a kid, Ayers was blowing things up."

And killing people. Deliberately. In cold blood. To further the cause of communism.

"Twenty years later, they sat on a non-profit board together and Ayers donated $200 to his re-election campaign in 2001."

They sat on that board together for seven years and worked together, at some points closely. And was a mentor and hosted the get-together that kicked off Obama's political career.

And it's well-known that Obama has many other radical ties. That is the point. Nobody is saying that Obama is responsible for what Ayers did. They are saying that Obama pursuing a relationship with Ayers indicates just how radical Obama is.

"No one has shown that they were close or that Obama was even aware of his weathermen ties when they were in contact with one another."

How utterly absurd. This shows either that you are an idiot, or that you think your readers are idiots. Ayers was well-known as a member of the Weather Underground, and this would be especially well known in Left circles in Chicago. If Obama didn't know about Ayers' past and his radical views, others would have discussed and mentioned it. But Obama, who is a lot smarter than you are, "micro ms," certainly would have known the background of any big man on the political scene like Ayers.

"Obama has even gone so far as to repudiate the weathermen and their actions."

Oh yes. That's going very far--to repudiate terrorism. No, idiot: that's not going far enough. He should have had nothing whatsoever to do with this unrepentant terrorist and murderer-for-communism.

"John McCain was a personal friend of Charles Keating, accepted over $100,000 from him in campaign contributions and took 9 family trips at his expense (and with him) as well as meeting with regulators on Keating's behalf. Those meetings make it obvious that McCain was aware that Keating's Lincoln Savings and Loan was under investigation while they were associated with one another."

It has been proven that McCain had absolutely nothing to do with the crimes of the "Keating 5," and this has long since become a non-issue. The other "five" are Democrats, and McCain was added to their roster by the Democrats who then controlled Congress, because they didn't want this to be known as an exclusively Democratic scandal.

Restricting gun carry in public places is a radical notion

When will the anti-gun nuttery stop? Gun carry in public is a constitutional right - in fact, in most states, folks can open carry holstered handguns in public, to libraires and liquor stores, no permit required. See map at http://www.opencarry.org/opencarry.html

Impaling Sarah Palin Will Lead To Resurrection

Governor Sarah Palin has captured the deserved enthusiam of the masses of straight talkers and evangelicals amongst independents and moderates. She has steadfastly insulted intentionally the main stream media invoking the wrath of Oprah and Hollywood. She has been declared an incorrigible racist small town boob "white girl" by the same radical forces within Congress and the DNC which used a sledge hammer race card to run Hillary out of the Democratic Primary, only to eat cheese and beg the Clinton's to Star at their little convention in Denver.

John McCain is the last real guy in American politics. He represents a world view more conditioned to World War two even-handed military responsibility as opposed to Post-Clinton further dismantling of the department of defense to support new entitlement programs. Sarah Palin must be crucified to take away the sin of race card playing for political advantage. All blacks and Democrats must unite to lambast Sarah as a malevolent incurable venomous racist every time she dares to play white willie-horton cards like mentioning Barack's lack of candor on Bill Ayers. America has endured the race card playing amongst the Democrats, who we are now told are switching from Hillary to Obama in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Now in this general election Sarah Palin intrepidly in the face of enormous public scorn and universal condemnation by civil rights "leaders" and network news anchors united is valiently standing on John McCain's shoulders waving an American flag and calling on guns and Jesus to save America from itself.Hail Sarah, Queen of All Righteous Men's Hearts. We love you most.
